Linhart is the best OTC gel whitener, hands down. I drink coffee and wine almost every day and have tried others but I keep coming back to Linhart.

This product actually does as good or better a job of whitening than the most popular strips and trays -- other than young teeth (20s 30s), it improves a few shades. Nice, but it wont give you gleaming white teeth. The problem is that if the room temp is not just right, the stuff pours out of the tube and you can lose significant amounts. And its counter intuitive -- its runny when its colder. There are countless gels and pastes out there that hold their form independent of temperature. The chemists of this product have failed to solve this issue. A $25+ toothpaste should not be this challenging to put on your toothbrush!

*** Update - I contacted the company about the problems with the product I received, and they sent me a replacement. They agreed that I may have gotten a bad batch. The replacement was definitely a gel and the tube has been changed to have a smaller opening. These two changes alone make the product so much better. I've updated to 4 stars. *** I bought this at the suggestion of my dental hygienist. I knew it was expensive but thought I would give it a try. What I got was not a gel, but instead a very watery liquid. What's worse is that the opening is larger than my normal gel toothpaste and this watery liquid just pours out, over the toothbrush and down the sink. Trying to pour it slowly only results in it dripping down the tube. Some of the other reviews have the same complaint as me so maybe we all got a bad batch of the product. But for $28, that's pretty bad. After 3 weeks of use, it's almost gone and I haven't noticed the slightest whitening of my teeth. Of course that could be from most of it being spilled rather than going in my mouth.

This is a really easy to use tooth whitening gel. It's easy to use, as you just put a little drop on your toothbrush with your paste or powder and brush like normal. I was very surprised by the taste, as it's very light. Not overpowering at all. As I've been using it I am really impressed with it. It's much better than using messy trays, as you don't have to deal with all the fuss. Just brush and be done. My teeth have felt very polished and I love the confidence I have now that my teeth are getting whiter.

I read about Linhart Whitening Gel in a magazine and thought I'd give it a try. After a month of using this gel 2 to 3 times a day along with my regular toothpaste, I saw no difference in whitening. Well, actually there was a difference because I stopped using the Weleda salt toothpaste I used for years, and so my teeth weren't nearly as white. The gel is quite expensive, but I was more than happy to pay the price for results. Unfortunately, there were none for me.

When I first use this I put it on top of strawberry toothpaste and that flavor combo was a little odd. I have been using it on top of mint toothpaste and that is much better. By itself it has a light mint flavor but it is recommended to put over your own toothpaste. The flavor reminds me of having those white strips in my mouth and the strange aftertaste they give. It does rinse cleanly though and does not leave an aftertaste after brushing. I drink a lot of coffee everyday so I think I am fighting with my whitening but I am noticing a small difference already. I like that it is less abrasive and better for my teeth than the charcoal powder I was trying before.

I’ve been using this for a good while now in conjunction with linhart toothpaste. I am a heavy smoker & coffee drinker, both of which leave me embarrassed to smile around people I don’t know afraid of the “non-smoker” judgement of my teeth. I’ve tried several different whiteners that promised results but always fell short of my desired results. Immediately I noticed a difference in the way my mouth felt, clean & fresh as if I had them professionally cleaned. After a couple of weeks I noticed a huge improvement in the coloring of my teeth. I also noticed my breathe stayed fresh much longer than it did using a regular toothpaste. I don’t find the taste or smell to be overwhelming & also hasn’t irritated my sensitive gums or teeth. Overall, I am impressed with the product & it’s effectiveness, it by far exceeded my expectations.
