This center channel speaker has taken my home theater to new heights. My setup is certainly not as elaborate or expensive as many others, but I have two speakers in the front and two in the rear and the center channel speaker really takes the sound to the next level. The speaker makes all of the dialogue just jump out at you and everything is crystal clear. So no matter what you're listening to, whether dialogue or music or sound effects, this speaker really is a great addition to any home theater system. It's affordable and nice looking and super easy to set up. It only took minutes. I would recommend it to anybody and certainly over a speaker that's hundreds of dollars or more.

I've been replacing speakers in my ancient 5.1 system from 2002. This was the final piece of the puzzle and it's doing the job nicely. With surround speakers, it's difficult to say exactly what they're capable of since they're only in use part of the time and not performing a full range of sound, but there's clarity on dialogue and vocals and a warm, natural sound. I chose this model because the width fits right into my TV stand. It's a low-profile design. Without the cover on, it's a bit boring as I have some Klipsch speakers in my setup now, with their pretty copper cones, but even though a center speaker, it's not a center of attention looks-wise. Great price too.

First things first, I'm not a crazy audiophile that can supposedly tell the difference among different spectral bands. What I am is a person that needed a center speaker for my old Aiwa receiver and Sony floor speakers combo. My setup is optical audio out from the TV into the receiver, then out to three channels (sides and center). I don't have surround speakers. When properly hooked up and calibrated by the receiver (I had to adjust the sound delay to the center speaker so the picture and audio synced), these speakers sounded pretty good. Speech and sound effects sounded very clear. What you will not get from these speakers is big bass sounds (obvious), nor a "full" sound. Maybe because these speakers are very small (which is a plus since I have it in front of my TV), the sound does not fill the room. With the additional side speakers, I do get a fuller sound. However, the Sonys I have are kinda old and crappy, so there's a disconnect between their sound and the Polk's. For its price and size, this speaker is pretty good, and will enhance your setup, especially for TV and movies. Before you buy, make sure the RMS power (wattage) and impedance (ohms) are appropriate for the receiver. Overall, I'm satisfy with this purchase.

Replaced a Klipsch center speaker in a 5.1 surround stereo system. This speaker has good sound and only weighs about 5 pounds. The Klipsch center speaker weighs about 15 pounds which is bulky and heavy and was not working on my tv stand. This speaker also was a better price than what I paid for the Klipsch speaker.

Definitely a nice center audio piece for the price. It really evened my system out where I was having a flat spot.

Happy with this unit. It replaced a Bose split cube and it sounds much better. I am glad that i replaced the Bose cube with this speaker. More vocals come through.

Spectacular Center Speaker Polk is renowned for quality. I have eight of there in wall speakers as part of my home theater. This unit is small but mighty...infinity clear voice on the center...great fill when playing Spotify or Sirius music. Arrived on time packed perfect to assure no shipping damage. Beware of the installation options...far, for from perfect. I had to engineer a fix for my situation which did not hamper performance. You'll enjoy this investment.

I frequently buy stuff expecting the absolute least from them, only to not even reach that low bar. Reviews were uniformly good on this centre speaker, but that doesn't always count for much on here. Purchased it at a low sale price, and expected to be disappointed as I was swapping out a great sounding speaker that was unfortunately just too bulky for its position on a mantel. Pleasantly surprised doesn't even begin to describe it. This speaker is tiny, and yet provides a properly rich sound. Bass, mids, and highs are all very well represented. It's a warm and full sound, never boomy, never tinny, never muddy. I don't appear to have sacrificed a thing in terms of sound quality in moving down to something comfortably a third of the size of my other speaker. Looks pleasant and unassuming enough, without any faddish bling, or instantly dated design touches. Speaker terminals are recessed so your connections don't get in the way of sitting or hanging it flush to a wall. Difficult to know what more to say. I have it as part of a 7.2 set-up in a large room and it never gets lost competing with the other speakers. A really capable performer in a small package, at a daft price.

We'd been using an older, more generic, surround speaker as our center channel for years and lately it seemed like it was getting more difficult to hear dialogue. We weren't sure if it was just us getting older, movies and TV shows doing a consistently poor job of mixing audio, or if it was the center speaker to blame. I decided to try a new center channel and wow, huge difference. It turns out we aren't as old and decrepit as we thought because now we can hear the dialogue crystal clear even when there's lots of other action and background noise going on. Even just beyond the clearer dialogue, there's a noticeable improvement in overall sound quality in our home theatre system (full surround with 2 subs) that I would've never thought possible just from getting a better center channel. It's allowed me to crank up the relative volume of the center channel so dialogue is not only louder and clearer but it sounds more rich and full as well.

La compré para sustituir la bocina central de un equipo Harmankardon hizo exelente trabajo no hubo un cambio perseptible solo hay que poner bajar un poco la distancia hacia el ollente ,ejemplo solo tienen que bajar de 2 metros de distancia bajarlo a 1.6metros a 1.2metros en distancia y dejar las centrales en 2 metros con esto se escucharía exelente dependiendo de sus configuraciones pero la suple a la perfección

I have a surround sound system but my center was ancient and muffled. Hard to hear voices. Not any more. Bit of a reflection off the top of the unit so I put black Japanese fabric tape on it. Covered the brand name on the speaker cover too. Sound is very very clear. Had to recalibrate the other speakers but I'm really happy with my Polk 🔊😀

As expected. Works ok for a small central speaker . Sits well on top of my samsung TV

Als Einsteiger Modell sehr zu Empfehlen. Für unsere Zwecke absolut ausreichend. Der Ton über den AVR ist klar und Bassig. Ist Täglich im Einsatz und erfüllt seinen Zweck.
