**Q: Can you clarify, is this one once of silver or is it silver plated?**
A: It is supposed to be like it says "pieces of eight" or 8 pieces that are 1/8 an ounce each--all together in one, 1 ounce, round coin that in the days of the pirates--could be broken off into 1/8 ounce pieces.  Seeing that silver is going for about $23 per troy ounce today--this better be .999 percent silver at the very least!

**Q: Why does the advertisement say 1 Troy oz of 999 silver but the physical coin say 1/8 oz 999 silver?**
A: This is just part of the design, the 
Reverse shows the purity and weight of the (8) 1/8 oz pure Silver pieces of the 1 oz Silver round.
THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU CAN TAKE THE PIECES APART.

A: One very dull and cheap looking coin that allegedly has an 1/8 oz of silver. Bought it as a gift and almost didn’t give it. On the other hand the silver Krugerrand I purchased is outstanding!
