## Description

Never look directly at the sun wih your binocular ,as it may cause serious damage to your eyes

Review: Great binocs - I've read through a lot of reviews before buying these glasses. The thing I saw most as a downside was that the image got a little blurry towards the edges but I figured if there's something near the edge of the image that you need to see more clearly then you can turn your head that way and see it! I had a chance recently to buy a set of Steiner's on discount for $100 but they were 10x26. I almost pulled the trigger. I just knew I needed something a little more powerful so I waited. Last year a buddy and I hiked about a 1,000 yards through some grueling terrain, up and down a steep gorge, just to get to a herd of deer that we thought were elk! I said, "never again"!! I'm getting some good binoculars!!! Well, I just sat on the patio looking through these things and I've got to say I'm super pleased by how nice they are. The right eye focus knob is a little hard to turn but not a big problem like others seemed to view it. They came in a great case that holds the binoculars and shoulder straps (which I haven't tried yet). I've been researching binoculars for awhile now and the "better" ones are outta my budget so was I stoked when I saw these on the Deal of the Day for $169! I really checked them out before pulling the trigger to buy them. I went to different sites and read a bunch of reviews. Seemed liked most peoples gripes were about the hard to turn right eye focus knob and the blurry peripheral vision. I thought for $169... if I didn't like them, I could probably sell them to someone else for more than I paid and keep looking for better ones. Well, I don't need too. These things are great! I've used friends' Nikon, Leica and Zeiss binoculars before and honestly, for the price I paid... I think I'm going to be able to see the same game they are but leave a few hundred bucks in my pocket! 3-17-14 Just took these bad boys out to check out some wild life right outside Yellowstone and was thoroughly impressed with the clarity of these binoculars. I looked at whitetail deer, mule deer, big horn sheep and elk. A herd of elk was about 1,500 yards away and I could see them clearly. Well worth the money!
Review: Bushnell Legend Ultra HD Binoculars ...my 2 cents worth. UPDATE - Prior to purchase I read most if not all reviewer comments both pro and con. Having considerable experience with many Bushnell optics such as rifle scopes, range finders, trailcams and other Bushnell binoculars, I wasn't very concerned with the quality and ordered a Legend Ultra HD 10x42. Some of the reviewers main complaints seem to be the locking ring and center focus wheel slop (take up) as well as it's stiffness when adjusting focus. In 12 days, I turn 69 and have arthritis in both hands and I have no trouble at all in manipulating the focus wheel and I also have zero slop......When you move the knob, the focus is immediate and reversing direction it's still immediate. As to the locking ring, for the right ocular lens.....it wasn't broken when I received it and I've locked and unlocked it several times and it still works and hasn't broken as of this writing. The lens' in this binocular in my opinion make it worth every dollar I paid and then some. This instrument is comfortable for prolonged use bright and crisp as binoculars costing twice as much as these or more. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to a friend. How long will they last? Who knows....I have 5 pairs still in use throughout the family some of them forty years old. Like my cameras, I don't let children play with mine as toys (that's what 12 or 15 dollar units are for), I don't throw them on the ground and I do wear them around my neck. Unless I'm sitting or lying on the ground. I don't think I need say it but I will....I like mine a lot and say go for it. I use mine several times a week just checking the wild life out. Send 'em back to desertcart if your not satisfied. UPDATE: Well it's been three quarters of a year of very frequent use and I still have NO issues with this binocular. Adjustments are still precise with NO parts falling off or any breakage of any kind.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: does anybody know where these are manufactured ?**
A: Why bother spending more than $100 on these Chinese manufactured Bushnell branded binoculars when you can buy the same Chinese branded binocular? These US companies continue giving them all their engineering and technical so China can make an identical product at a fraction of the cost. Shame on them.

**Q: Do they come in both Camo & the regular finish at this special price? Only the hunter type Camo finish is pictured.**
A: From what I can tell, only the camo models are on sale. The black finish is more.

**Q: Can this be hung on the neck?Does this have cloth to take it?**
A: The binoculars come with a comfortable neck strap. It works great. It also comes with a microfiber bag and cleaning cloth.

**Q: How does the strap connect to the binocular? Could we be missing attachment hooks?**
A: No you are not missing any hooks. The strap needs to be undone to weave into slots about 1 1/2" from each eyepiece on each side. It takes a bit of maneuvering and you need a firm leading edge on the strap to get it easily through the slots - so don't mess with leading edges on the strap too much before attaching. On one side I had to use a unwound paperclip wire to guide the edge through the slot. The other side was fairly easy to weave through first time. Also make sure you wave the eyepiece covers through the strap before mounting to the binoculars. You will see a thin slot in the rubber on one side. This will keep everything together when using in the field.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ After reviewing what seems like hundreds of websites from birding to astronomy
*by F***W on December 29, 2014*

I purchased these for astronomy. After reviewing what seems like hundreds of websites from birding to astronomy, these were the best bang for your buck. I normally use 7x50's for general use during the day and star gazing at night. The 10x42 was a better choice on crisp, clear viewing both day/night. However, what was truly beautiful was looking through the lenses during a cold night and them NOT fogging up! Lightweight, rugged, excellent lenses, waterproof and the list goes on. One thing that seems to be mentioned a bit were the lens protectors at the eye pieces. I simply looped my strap thru it since it offers this option and it's now not a problem. The main lenses also have separate caps and you do have to be careful they don't slide off when opening the caps but it's minor if you're careful. Bushnell rocks on this product and hope you consider it for both day and mostly night time viewing. Peace.
