The item I received only has one clip at the end of the arm. There doesn't seem to be any way to attach one of the clips I already own to the rod so I don't know how I'll be able to use the item. Other than that it seems to be adequate for holding the 43" reflector that I own, at least indoors.I'll probably return the item after the Christmas rush.I decided to return my item with the missing part before the Christmas rush and have received the replacement with Amazons usual promptness.Now that I have the complete item I've tried it out and it works well with my 43" reflector set. I'm not certain the light stand would stay in place outdoors without sandbags on the legs, but that's not an issue with the reflector holder. The holder is heavy duty and once you find the correct mounting hole in the bracket, there are four sizes, it holds tight on my Ravelli stands. My stands have a screw and release button at the top that secures the reversible spigot so the clamp needs to be disassembled to slip onto the stand, but if I use a different stand it slides right on. The clamps have re-positionable handles so they can be located for easy adjustment.The arms adjusts for length with snap latches similar to those used on tripods. No screw knobs to twist back and forth. They lock tight too.Thanks to Amazons fast service I now have a useable reflector, light stand, and holder setup. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exactly what i needed. *by A***X on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on October 31, 2013* Overall this is a great little addition to the collection of stands and brackets. The design is great. You have an option of keeping your reflector centered over your stand or you can even slide the pivot to one side and have your reflector offset like a small boom if you need to. It holds my 42" reflector perfectly and is adjustable to adapt to most standard size and shape reflectors. With the ballhead you can even put the bar in a vertical set up and use only one clamp and support a huge reflector/background if you need to.Now for the 4 star rating! Two things, both not a deal breaker. Like a lot of the other reviews stated, my kit was missing the 5/8" stud that is pictured and stated in the description. I really can't say that I would use it on this arm but I am sure I could have found a use somewhere else. If they show it and say it is included then put it in the box please. Second issue is also not that big but worth a note. The plastic molded spring clamps at the ends that hold the reflector are not the smoothest operating. There was some extra plastic that was not trimmed off inside and the spring end itself can pop out and cause it to bind up. After close inspection I was able to trim the plastic out and it freed up but the spring can still be an issue. This sounds worse than it really is. After playing around with them, they now have a smooth operation and hold securely.Bottom line, I'm happy with the purchase and recommend it. ### ⭐⭐ Better than nothing some of the time - other times it was just easier not to deal with it. :( *by S***E on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on December 3, 2013* This was not able to clamp onto any of the light stands I currently have - it was too big for all and so it wouldn't hold tight. That was probably the biggest problem because then it wasn't able to position it where it wanted without using something else to hold it in place. Also, with my reflector, it would stick out far enough that it would tip the stand over unless I had a weight holding it down. I was not impressed with the way it held the reflector either because i couldn't angle it up or down at all. It was just at the mercy of gravity and the breeze because nothing held it in place. It was a little helpful to have something to hold it at all, but it was not simple enough to set it where I needed it to reflect to even make me want to use it some of the times. When you're working with kids and have small windows as it is to get your shots, you really need something that doesn't take several minutes of 'fiddling' to get it right. Overall I was disappointed. I expected it to be a little more helpful. In some cases it was better than nothing, but in others it was too frustrating to even deal with it at all. I'd love to hear that I am just using it wrong and that it really does work better than this. If anyone can enlighten me, please do! :) Then I will certainly revise my review.
