Thank you for your inquiry.
Please kindly notice it's made of Japanese special paper like Lantern paper.
It's almost opaque.
Hope this will helps.

**Q: How sticky is the item? Might use these to decorate my graduation cap!**
A: Unfortunately I was very unhappy with these because they weren’t very sticky. I was using them to tape tissue paper and they kept coming off.

**Q: can this tape be washed by hand with soapy water?**
A: I doubt it. It's pretty delicate.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for masking borders on painting without bleeding or ripping up paper on removal

Idk how well these would work for crafting as they might peel off too easily but they work great for masking. I use washi tape for masking the border on my watercolor paintings and these work great. They stay adhered, don't allow bleeding and as long as you don't try to pull it off too quickly it won't rip up the paper. I've used it with both coldpress and hot press watercolor paper and with Bristol board without any issues.
