I love lip balms and I can for sure say that ...
I love lip balms and I can for sure say that I love this one. The color was fantastic and subtle, and seemed almost a brighter natural dark pink! It's so hard to describe but it's an amazingly versatile color. I got my friend the same color, and since her lips are significantly lighter than mine you can see the pink more clearly, but it looks just as fantastic, just in a different way! I go through a lot of lip balms because my lips get chapped really easily in the hot, dry weather and tend to flake and crack if I don't apply balm all the time. Recently I wanted to try the tinted ones, even though my lips tend to chap (and when my lips chap you can see the color on the chapped portions more intensely). So I'd been eyeing this one for a while. When I tried it on for the first time I was really surprised with the smooth application and the moisturizing ability! It didn't have that gross and sticky, waxy feel that some chap sticks have and it loved it! Most of the time it moisturizes so well that my lips don't chap and I don't have to worry about how the tint brings out peeling lips, but sometimes it does happen. Before I use this one I just make sure that I've either exfoliated my lips or just layer it with another gloss, cause the color is fantastic by itself as well. Overall, this can definitely be worn as a regular moisturizing lip balm that gives a great tint and I've recommended it to a lot of friends!

nice tinted lip balm
This is a nice colored lip balm. its not extremely shiny like a gloss, and has a nice smooth feel on the lips. Hibiscus is a deep, warm pink that mimics healthy lips, which is why I like it-- I have large, pale lips that chap easily.I am dark blond w pale skin and dark eyes and this is a nice deep pink nude on me. if you are darker, or have more natural color in your lips, Red Dahlia is also a good color, more of a brown red. if you have very chapped or dehydrated lips, use a lip scrub first-- I always use a little bag balm or lanolin on my lips overnight, after I use a lip scrub ( you can also use a wet washcloth). This keeps me from getting flakes that any colored product is just going to exacerbate. Then I use this on days when I want to look healthy and bright without looking like I have make up on. It stays on reasonably well. Definitely a nice addition to gym bag.

Hibiscus
This lip balm comes packaged in a cute but unnecessary cardboard tube that lists the ingredients, (they are not listed on the actual lip balm). The lip balm is flavorless, has no scent, and goes on very smoothly. As far as moisturizing goes, it's all right- it could be a little more moisturizing though. The Hibiscus tint is a natural looking shade that is subtle. If you already have pigmented lips, this shade may not be all that noticeable, but if you're like me and your lips aren't very pigmented, you might like that it adds just a bit of color. There is no shine from this product, which I usually prefer, but wouldn't expect from a lip balm anyway. Overall, I would recommend this if you are looking for a lip balm that adds just a little bit of color, and does not have a scent or flavor. (Your boyfriend will appreciate this when you're making out-- just thought I'd throw that out there!)
