When doing setup closely watch your phone. Make sure connected to server network not another network.
I have had three NETCAM Cameras for years and just added another one. They work well. We like being able to look inside our house when we are traveling.When I installed the last NETCAM I found it tries to attach to the nearest network which could be a printer network or some other Wi-Fi Network. You have to watch your I-Phone closely and continuously while doing the NETCAM setup. It only allows you a few seconds to select your main computer network which requires you to enter the server password. If you don't select the network it takes the closest network. It the setup does not ask for the server password you know it is not connected.

Not Good !
I am sending it back for a refund - During the "easy setup" !? on my Android Phone (Galaxy S5) it kept losing its "connection" between the camera and the phone even though it was inches away and could not complete the "easy setup" !? After hours of making numerous changes to my phones settings as per online suggestions (which that alone I did not like) and trying other possible fixes , I gave up, boxed it up, and it is on its way back to Amazon !! All I was looking for was an inexpensive, no frills, home wireless camera and this is not it !!

Read my review and learn to use at night through a window.
I purchased the refurbed cameras. My rating is based upon my use and the price I paid... $35 at this price, I'm looking for other places to put them, but don't want to appear paranoid!My cameras work perfectly with the Wemo app on my iPhone. I rent a beach house and had some concerns about people coming and going when I wasn't there. I don't need HD video; I just need cameras that work day and night. These cameras have a decent picture and set on the low setting for motion detection don't have many false alarms.They work very well in front of a window during the day, but the infrared doesn't work with my windows at night, it creates a bizarre reflection, I'm not sure if it's the coating on the windows or just how infrared works. EDIT: I've spent some time getting these to work at night after a little tinkering.Step 1. In the NetCam App, go to settings and turn off the IR.Step 2. Set the camera motion detection sensitivity to Low.Step 3. Purchase some Mr. Beams Motion lights from Amazon if you don't have spotlights outside.With the IR off and the spotlights on, the camera is working through the window perfectly at night.When the motion activated lights come on, it triggers the alert via the app on my phone.You may need to play with sensitivity and outdoor lighting to get the perfect output for yourself, but my setup works well. My deck spotlights are motion sensitive and don't light the area I wanted to view anyway, so the Mr. Beams lights from amazon are the perfect compliment to the camera at a fair price.I also moved the camera to another window tried it with the deck spotlights on. Those lights are not motion activated, they are for lighting the deck for a party, with the deck and yard lit up like Fort Knox, the camera worked through the window just fine with the IR turned off.The only other drawback I can think of is that the power plug and cable are black. If you have white trim and outlets, the cameras blend in, but the plug and cable stick out.Overall, the price can't be beat for something so easy to set up and use.

Good Cameras, Small Concern about Cloud
These are great little cameras. I now have several to monitor the house. I use the NetCam app on both my tablet and my smart phone - works great on both.You actually install the app, create an account with Belkin, and then start to set up the cameras, one at a time, by connecting the phone or tablet's WiFi directly to the camera (using discover mode), and then go through a few steps so that the app configures the camera for your network and your Belkin Cloud account. Sometimes it took several tries with a hard reset on the camera in between, but once configured they seem quite stable. I'd give these 5 stars except for...One issue I ran into was when we had a big storm and our internet connection went down. Without the internet connection, the App was unable (unwilling) to let me access my cameras on my home network. That's why only 4 stars. There is no alternate method of access - use the App or don't use the cameras. So my recommendation to Belkin would be to have the App be able to access the camera configuration last used if the internet is down - rather than having all the cameras go down, too. That, of course, assumes you are on the same network! Obviously if the house's internet connection goes down you cannot access the cameras from elsewhere (which works surprisingly well, by the way!), but it would be nice to still be able to use them on the local network when the internet is down. Belkin, take note!

Horrible!!!
I originally offered a review of this as a good camera, but not great. I am taking that back. Shortly after I posted that, the camera would go offline. I would have to reset it. I tried to get a hold of Belkin support, and that was like pulling teeth. I finally gave up on trying to talk to someone and decided to do an online chat. They recommended resetting it back to factory defaults, and changing its location. I did as they asked, and it worked with no issues. I left for vacation (The reason I bought the thing in the first place). And as soon as I was on vacation, it went offline. The day I left. My brother came over, and reset it for me. It lasted for about 45 minutes before it went offline again. This happened 4 days in a row!! I would not recommend this product to anyone (More for the lack of service on Belkins part than anything else) Very disappointed!!!!

Unstable, don't let them waste your time on the phone troubleshooting.
Unstable!! OK when it stays connected to the iPhone\internet. Worst part is that they will have you waste hours on the phone still not getting it to work and then having someone else call back and still not getting it to work and then again the engineer will call still not getting it to work. I figure they owe me money for my wasted time. This is the 2nd one that went on the fritz. I switched to a D-link and it is much more stable. Belkin wasted more than an hour of my time trying to trouble shoot a broken camera. They finally sent me a new one but I do not know if I want to waste my time since I already went through two of these.

It worked great up until the latest firmware update
It worked great up until the latest firmware update, now the app crashes and freezes or won't even let me log in, or there's an infinite swirling circle on a black background. The website was never very good, it freezes after a few moments, but it didn't matter before because the app worked. Now the whole thing is useless and a waste of money.

La caméra fonctionne bien. J’en suis contente, elle correspond à mes attentes, et le prix est raisonnable. L’image est un petit peu flou mais on arrive quand même à bien voir les objets et les visages. La détection de mouvements par contre n’est pas très efficace.

Do NOT loose your start up software
Camera works ok but if you need to reboot, make sure you have your start up software. Your cannot reset without it.

Very easy software to use and user friendly
Took a while but finally got the cam going. Very easy software to use and user friendly. Connecting the cam to the router too a little longer but I think that was more software issues then hardware. Overall great camera.

I have several of these in my home and they work good for what I need, was a little disappointed with this last one I purchased as it was clearly used and was sold to me as being new, also the night vision on it doesn't work. A little disappointed with this transaction

Delayed pictures...
Easy to install but the email notifications include pictures that are too delayed so the person triggering the motion sensor is often no longer in the screen. Also, it would be nice if it was battery powered.

I have 2 of these and they work just fine. I intend to get one more for full coverage of my house. Works on smart phone,tablet and computer. By running multiple copies of your browser on your computer you can have them all on the computer screen at once. Some smart phones can spit the screen too.
