Review: Great quality. - Thank you A little pricey, but a better quality than other branded boxes available in ethnic- produce outlets. My first purchase, did not arrive. The post office was at fault. When I contacted the vendor a replacement was sent immediately. The fruit were fresh and delicious. My second batch, fruit were older, so suffered slightly with loss of flavour. Tamarind ripens on storage and they are affected by temperature, therefore if kept too long before sale the flavour profile changes from tangy and tart to sweet. Most people prefer the tart and acidic taste.

I can’t really recall how many, but I would say about 100 the first time I’ve purchased and then the number reduced after that.

**Q: How can you store them and how long do they stay fresh?**
A: You need to store them in your fridge (0-5 degrees Celsius), they stay fresh for more than 90 days.

**Q: Are these green inside? I’m looking for the green sour tamarind. Thank you**
A: They are not green inside. They are black.

A: No they are sweet tamarind

good and sour, whereas some others I've had were mostly just sweet. I think that they get less sour as they get older. Bought these for sauces but I've just been munching them out of the bag!
