I am not a huge fan of the TSA and I become livid when I discuss the degradation of airline service over the last few years. And the sudden insistence that luggage weigh no more than 50 pounds, even while the airlines are ripping us off for at least $25 a bag, really frosts me.It's unfortunate, then, that my wife, with whom I travel often, likes to take along with her a lot of clothing. We'll often have to weigh her luggage to make sure it will fit the stringent diet on which the airlines insist. The problem is that our method of weighing has been somewhat less than satisfactory. We have to hold the suitcase and then balance it on our bathroom scale. A bit of a cumbersome process.And then I saw this. I immediately knew I had to have it. Well, I had to purchase it for my wife, to be more precise. She had to use this.It's a well-designed mechanism. The scale itself is shaped like a handle and can be used as such when you grasp it. It easily hooks onto the luggage. The strong strap will easily attach to anything handle-like on the suitcase. If you can lift the suitcase by it, the luggage scale can use that to hold up the suitcase.Still, it doesn't matter if the scale is well designed if it doesn't work. This scale. . . This scale works and does it well. We've found that it's almost perfectly aligned with the airport scales. We've had some close calls averted thanks to this scale. Using it at home, and knowing its correct, means we don't have to unpack and distribute things we hope are the right weight, and then pack again at the airport counter.

Love this product. I have had this for few years now (sept 2014) and I have gifted it to (almost 5-6) friends and family. Recently I bought this for my brother as he is now staying away from rest of the family. Its very easy to carry this around with you and saves you from lot of hassle.Few things to consider:1. You need to hold the bag for at least 20-30 sec for it to stabilize. So you need someone strong enough to carry it.2. Once I finish packing, I move the bag around for a while so that things move like they would while transporting it till the airport. This usually gives more accurate weight once things have settled down.3. Don't try to weigh items less than one kg. its not very accurate.After more than 3 years, it shows low battery life. but so far it still continues to work. It just shuts itself down quickly. I will order replacement battery before my next big trip.

Used it a few times a year before pandemic then after it. Still working. Durable and accurate! Just need to replace battery every 2 years or so.

The Camry 110 pound luggage scale is compact, and the strap is easy to attach, but sometimes the catch falls off if you're not careful. The scale reads in one-tenth of a pound increments, but does not stabilize and freeze the final weight...it just keeps showing new numbers. My other scale beeps and freezes the reading once it's stabilized, and I much prefer that method. Overall, a great travel scale that's small and light enough to travel with. For a 50-pound suit case, it read within 1 pound of the airport scale (which read 1 pound higher than this one).

I bought 3 new travel scales to replace one I loved but the battery cover had fallen off. I have had several scales like this over the years, some of which were left on holiday by mistake, some were bulky or uncomfortable to hold and some fell apart after much use. At home I have a large "professional" baggage scale I can compare to. This Camry was accurate. It was easy to use, comfortable in 2 hands and registered the weight very fast. I wish the strap were 2 inches shorter as I am not tall and that would help me hold the weight but as this sets so fast it really is not an issue. The other 2 I tried were not as fast or as accurate and one felt as if it might break with just 39 pound bag on it. I had thought if they were all good I'd keep them all for spares and/or gifts but the other 2 just were not worth it.If they are inaccurate on a 39 pound bag by 1-2 pounds that might not sound like much but if you end up paying a $100 over-weight fee because your scale at home is not perfect then that is a big deal.

Why in the world did I never buy one of these before? This is one of the best gadgets I ever purchased! No more guessing at where of not my luggage is overweight. Or standing on a bathroom scale with and without luggage to try to estimate the weight! I recently flew on an airline that allowed only 5 kilos in a carryon. That's not very much, but I certainly didn't want to check any camera equipment or electronics, so every ounce was precious, and I had to juggle things back and forth between my carry on and my checked bag, depending on which airline I was flying on and what their baggage restrictions were. That would have been totally impossible without this handy tool. Apparently it was accurate because the airline never disputed my weights. I could live without the temperature sensor, but it was kind of cool to have it. However, the ability to switch between pounds and kilos was a must, and it worked just fine.The unit has a convenient strap that fastens easily around the handle of my suitcase, backpack, carryon, etc. It's small and lightweight, and is comfortable to hold on to. Everybody who travels should have one of these. This one is inexpensive and seems to work perfectly.

Tucks in to luggage - but wouldn't go near an airport with out it. Airlines are very strict lately, this has saved me with out guessing. Moved internationally - this can lift and weigh very heavy luggage. I pull the battery out in between trips as not to waist it, or damage it.

Yeah, I haven't flown in over a decade, but I will probably use this to weigh my luggage if I do.I DO use this as a tool to give a rough weight for car parts I pull from salvage yards, so I can estimate weights for shipping more accurately than eyeball and hefting-it-in-your-hand guestimates. It would prove inexpensive, and useful for, say, someone that is building a race/track car, and doesn't want to buy a remote-display weigh scale. Many car parts are bulky and with the LCD screen right on the lift grip, so you can get a reasonably accurate weight on a a larger part -- up to 50kg/110lbs, of course! You just need to use another item, like a bungee cord as a sling, and if you can balance and lift a part, you can get a reading for it's weight. I've weighed items as awkward as steel bumper-bars on cars with this.I haven't tested this to the max rating, but has seemed to be accurate for items that weigh up to 20-25 lbs (~10kg) so far.

Um nicht für Übergepäck am Flughafen zahlen zu müssen, ist dies eine tolle Lösung. So kann man schon im Vorfeld richtig verteilt packen und erlebt dann keine Überraschung oder muss noch am Flughafen umpacken. Funktioniert super und ist sehr handlich.
