Very pice portrait light- as you can see from the photos, I have an outlet above my painting anyway, but in order to turn on lights like that you need to be able to reach the switch- which is why I opted for the battery powered remote control one.It’s a very clean looking light, simple and basic. It doesn’t look cheap (especially from a distance) and it fits my space really well.It doesn’t throw off a ton of light, but it doesn’t bother me too much- I bought it so it would highlight the texture of the art I put under it.I’m concerned about losing the remote, it’s very small and slim. It has really nice features like timers (15,30,60,90 minutes) and a brightness control and warm vs cold tone light.

It’s beautiful. It’s better than expected. It came with everything needed to mount it to the wall with ease.The light can be cool, warm or a combo of both and can be bright or dim. The light can be twisted and adjusted to hit the perfect spot on your displayed art. The remote works perfectly but you can also Turn it on and off without the remote by pushing a button on the side of the light. This is so well made, works beautifully and is sleek! We are very please with this purchase. And I can’t say enough about all the options it has to be hung with ease and precision. Definitely a great light for a great price!

Overall I feel this product is very well designed. It comes with a removable mounting bracket with its own built-in level which makes it very easy to install. The different temperature light options is also a big plus, and the remote is well organized and easy to use. I gave it only 4 stars however because it's not suitable for large frames, and that's not clear from the description. The arm can pivot, but it's not bendable. Therefore, both the angle of the light and the distance from the picture are fixed. This means that you can't re-center the light to a spot lower on the picture for larger frames. I would only therefore recommend this for pictures that are 18" high or less. It would be nice if this was made clear in the description. The light is not really usable for the larger picture I had in mind, but I can repurpose it for a smaller picture in my house.

I bought two of these lights in black. I had them installed within about 20 minutes of taking them out of the box. They have a level built right into the mounting plate so you should not be able to fail at getting it right the first time. The lights are not quite as bright as I would like. They do have three light settings, warmer and brighter and almost a blue bright light. But they do the job. Created some soft lite in what was a dark space in my house. And thought the remote works fine, walked by and hitting the power button when I am tucking in the for night does the trick too. I would def recommend this product.

I love the easy mount (the removable plate with the built in level was an amazing touch to make mounting a breeze). The warm and cool light tones as well as the remote and dimming functions work well. Everything seemed great, until I stepped back and realized the light bar itself is not level and there is no way to adjust to straighten. You can twist the lights up and down (each independently) and you can turn the bar side to side (as well as the arched arm), but you can not modify horizontally to ensure a level light. I am way too OCD for that slight tilt to exist. At a quick glance, it’s not super noticeable. However, noticeable once you do spot the lines not all lining with each other.

I purchased this to provide more light in a shady corner where I hung a new piece of art. It was very easy to install, it comes with an easy to use template and even has a little level built right into it! I hung it myself with no trouble.I do not use it everyday - it’s turned on when we have guests or when I want to enjoy the art it’s mounted over.I read the reviews about it not being bright enough. I can see why someone might think that, if the area you are lighting is really dark or you are expecting bright illumination. I think it does the job. I love that you can adjust for cool or warm light, it has brightness control and a timer. The remote is really easy to use.It looks great, I highly recommend!

Unfortunately, I cannot comment on how difficult or easy this product was to install as we had our handyman do it. I didn’t hear any complaints or naughty words and he did it in a very reasonable amount of time, so I would have to say installing is no problem. I ordered two, one in black and one in antique bronze. Both of the colors are very nice. I like the fact that you could select the type of light you wanted to shine on your picture, whether it be a softer tone with a different pigment or a bright white light. The only complaint I have is that one of the Lights was not wrapped as well as the other and it did not contain its own remote. There is an on off button on the side so We are still able to turn it on and select the lighting tone that we want with that button. We also have the remote with the other light, so it was a moot point

First one arrived without any box, paperwork, remote, screws, etc. BAD AMAZON! Sending products out that are returns, yet not ensuring they are complete. Shame on you.Ordered asecond one and it came in a box, nicely wrapped, with mounting screws, paperwork and a remote. Luckily you can turn on the light without a remote, but since we mounted this up so high, a remote control is required.Light was ridiculously easy to install. It has a little level built into the mounting plate but it looked off. Sure enough, we got our big level and it wasn't accurate. But after marking the two holes and drilling the screws in, the light just slips right on.Our only issue is that it isn't very bright for a big area. If it was over a picture, it would only light up the top portion only. This one is more for aesthetics and we probably won't turn the light on very much and just use the hall light instead. For under $30, it's a great deal.
