Wild Republic Platypus Plush, Stuffed Animal, Plush Toy, Gifts for Kids, Cuddlekins 12 inches

I actually have two of these guys. Platypuses are cool creatures; a duck but walks on four legs, a mammal but lays eggs, and it’s even venomous in the male species (but only in its back legs!) He’s made of a faux fur that is smooth, silky, and with cuddles he just feels more and more like a well loved teddy bear. He has plastic eyes, but that’s the only hard part on him. His little feet are all embroidered between the toes, he has his long stuffed yet floppy tail, and he retains his shape even with lots of hugs and cuddles. I’m delighted by him every time I see him, and his little beak and head tilted up makes him look like he’s constantly looking up at you with love. He’s definitely a winner in terms of giftablity and just getting him for yourself!

This toy is so sweet and offers a lot of cozy fun and yet looks like the real critter. Will be buying more from this company in the future

This made an excellent gift. It’s soft but structured, well made, and a good size. My son immediately named it Perry and has slept with it every night since.

I got this for my friend’s 2 1/2 year old daughter. I got her brother the opossum last year, and lately they have been fighting over it. I chose the platypus (and the opossum) for them because everyone gets them bears, bunnies, and puppies. I want them to learn about the overlooked animals that are fascinating too. She calls him Duck, and says he’s her Catapus. It’s adorable and I’m thrilled she loves it and no longer tries to steal her big brother’s opossum. These are quality stuffies and I highly recommend them.

I got 4 wild republic stuffed animals for 4 kids. Each child was thrilled. They are soft and well-made and realistic.

This little platypus is so cute and cuddly. My ten year old granddaughter loves him! She named him Jerry. He's just the right size for cuddling. I am about to buy another one. Jerry needs a partner.

Cute but I can’t get the plastic smell out of him. My daughter loves him though.

It was a gift for a toddler and he loved it. Soft nap, firm stuffing and nice details make this a great gift for any kid big enough to carry it. It was tough to part with it. It really is that nice.

Nicely made, son loved it

very good quality

It's furry, it's soft, and it's a very convincing platypus. What more does one need from a soft toy!
