Amazing for my old dog!
I have a 15 or so boxer mix. We used to live in an all carpeted home but around a year ago we moved to an all tile house. From day one in the new house my old boy has has a slippery time. If he ran he would end up slidding to the other side of the room (not on purpose and would end up busting his butt). Didnt have funds to purchase carpet and rugs didnt help much. Its gotten so bad that hes to scared to even stand up. His hind legs are no good they are wobbly and give out a lot. When hes finally able to force himself up (seriously struggling because his front paws keep sliding) he just comes falling back down because his hind legs are sliding all over the dang place. Now all he does is sit there most the time. If he has to go to the bathroom he yelps at me to assist him. I tried getting patted socks but this old boy doesnt like things on his feet so i went ahead and tried these. I was a little worried because while there are quite a few good reviews theres several stating its a waste of money. But I thought why not just give it a try its not expensive. So I went ahead and bought them in the biggest size (shoulda went a size smaller) and im oh so happy I did!! I followed many peoples suggestions and trimed the pads to just the toe areas and then put em on his paw pads which was kinda hard to do only because he doesnt like ppl touching his paws. After I put em on him I went to the other side of the room to call for him and he just yelped for assistance. I told him no he gotta try to get up on his own. He struggled to get up but got up the fastest ive seen him in a while then he walked to me slowly, no slipping. Let me tell you that after he did that little walk to me and realized he wouldnt slip he had such a confidence boost!! He dang tried running! He didnt fall or nothing, hes had them on for 2 days now a few have falled off and im gonna replace em soon but hes been walking around all day long, hoping and light running here and there. My old boy is back to being his old joyful full of life self. I couldn't be more satisfied with this product! WARNING: I think people who wrote bad comments either didnt put them on right or had to high of expectations. These are basically bandaids, little stickers for their paws, they are not permanent. If u have carpets, rugs, or if ur dogs go out side a lot or if they drag there fett some these stickers are not gonna stay on long because they get loose. My boy lost 1 sticker the first day and the second day he lost a few more (try putting a bandaid on the bottom of ur foot and see how long it will last. Even though they fall off they still stick quite well and my boy is able to walk just fine with a few stickers missing. And the product is not supper expensive so it's easy to buy more. All im saying is you should try em out especially if ur dog is old and struggling!

Worked Pretty Well
I purchased these for our 13 year old large dog who was having difficulty getting up from laying on stone floor. These work fairly well. Thankfully the dog accepts these on her feet without problems...walking like she doesn't feel them. It was also difficult sticking them on her pads because I applied them while she was laying down so it was hard for me to position them correctly...I couldn't turn her pad enough to see it fully...but that probably is just me being inept. I did order the wrong size--ordered XXXL ...she's a Chesapeake Bay Retriever...I don't know what I was thinking! But I still used them and she didn't mind the excess hanging off her pads (such a good girl!) I finally did start to cut them to size which still worked well. Now to how they worked....worked perfectly....she has arthritis in back legs so has difficulty standing up but these pads did give her more grip on the floor. Not that she jumped up but it gave her more confidence getting up. I feel it was a win for her. Right now she only goes out into the yard and back several times a day, doesn't go for walks. They don't stay on very long....maybe 2 days possibly three, but since I only put them on her back pads, the amount of pads in the package will last a decent amount of time. So..good product, does what it's suppose to just wished they lasted on her pads longer.

Safe hip saver.
The paw protectors work well for my small dog. When I visit my daughter’s house I hate to take the carpet runners I use at my house , so my dog doesn’t slip and slide on her tile floors. A little tricky to get off because my dog had very hairy paws, but we work it out. Well worth the purchase.

My Dog Thought He Was Reborn. I Give This Three Stars Anyway. — 3 Stars
The concept is genuinely brilliant. The execution needs some work. Let me explain. These paw grip pads come in a set of six — 24 pieces total — and the idea is simple. Stick them on your dog's paw pads and watch them stop sliding across your hardwood floors like a cartoon character who just ran off a cliff. Here's what the instructions don't tell you but a fellow reviewer discovered and I am now passing on as a public service — do NOT use the whole paw piece as one unit. Cut them into individual pieces, approximately five per paw pad. This is the move. This is the secret. You're welcome. Now here's what else the instructions don't mention. If your dog has long fur — and some of us have very fluffy dogs — you need to move that fur completely out of the way before applying directly to the actual paw pad. Fur plus adhesive is not the partnership you're looking for here. If these things attach to hair instead of pad they become nearly impossible to remove without either scissors or a very patient grooming session. Consider yourself warned. When applied correctly they last approximately three to four days which sounds great until you realize you're losing roughly one pad per day somewhere in your house. I don't know where they go. I've stopped asking. Now. The highlight of this entire experience. My son's 13 year old dog Moose — a bichon mix who had clearly forgotten what traction felt like — had these applied and immediately began running around the house like he had been granted a second chance at life. Zooming. Confident. A renewed senior dog. I babysit Moose on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and I have never seen him move like that. The pure joy of a 13 year old fluffy gentleman who suddenly has grip on hardwood floors again is something I did not know I needed to witness but I am genuinely better for having seen it. 😄 At $12 for the set the price is reasonable until you do the math on monthly replacement costs for a dog who needs them regularly. It adds up faster than you'd expect. Three stars — one for the brilliant concept, one for Moose's spiritual renewal, and one for the price point. Half a star deducted for the fur situation and the mysterious daily disappearing pads. Improve the adhesive and figure out the long fur problem and this is easily a five star product. The dogs are rooting for you. 😄🐾

Worked Great
These are great idk what people are complaining about. thy stick great and the size medium fit my 15lb dog perfect! these really helped my senior dog, they don't stay on long like a day or two but that didn't bother me.

Best thing I've purchased for senior dog
Best thing I ever purchased for my 18 year old senior mini poodle. He has arthritis in his hips and will get stuck with all his legs spread out without these. I do have to replace them every other day or so, mostly because when the sprinklers go off and he walks on the wet grass it loosens the adhesive. But I'd happily replace them daily if it meant he could walk as well as he does with these! 1000/10

The word “anti slip” should be “anti grip”
My senior puggle has a hard time on hardwood floors, the product indicated that the anti slip grips would be perfect. I put a pad on each paw as directed. The size was perfect. The adhesive started to come off after a short while and although the hair on the paw kept the pad from totally falling off the dog kept slipping. I gave the pads another try and the same result. The pad is a total waste of money!

Great but a little small
When my sweet old man was nearing end of life, moving was increasingly more difficult for him, especially on our hard wood floors. He was a black lab german shepherd mix, about 85lbs so we purchased the XXL size. They still felt a little small in my opinion, and we had to place them slightly back on the front toe beans so he'd have more of the grip on his large pad. I would absolutely recommend making sure those grinchy beans are shaved down so hair doesn't get stuck in the adhesive and pull! The grips are very soft and flexible. It did appear to give him more purchase to stand up, but I can't speak to their full capabilities since he still needed assistance, with or without them. I did feel like he skittered a little less once we had these on him. They are very thin so while these worked for our purposes, I wouldn't rely on these for use on hot sidewalks/roads, I don't think they'd provide much if any paw protection. As for durability, they lasted quite a few days with each application but if they are for a more active dog, probably not great. My boy was essentially bed ridden so other than a few trips outside, they weren't getting tested out much. If any amount of mud is introduced, I feel fairly confident they would need changed daily. The few times they got a little wet, they seemed to peel off very quickly. Our boy hated his feet being touched and would let you know about it and he was compliant with these being put on. He didn't do the awkward dog steps that you see when boots are put on them but I can't say if it was because they were comfortable or if he just didn't have the energy to protest. If you have another brat of a dog like we do, be warned when these start to peel, they can be pulled off fairly easily. Our puppy loved to "help" by taking these off our eldest anytime he noticed this -_-
