Lightweight mower. Easy to assemble and easy to use. I like that it holds a lot of (squished) clippings. Cuts well with the adjustable height metal blade.

I have used this on two occasions so far. I have a small-medium sized back lawn, and a larger front lawn which is uneven in parts. I have found this does a decent job, it’s relatively easy to manoeuvre, and I appreciate the hover capability as it helps with cutting the lawn edges. I must agree with some of the other reviewers about the difficulty of removing the blade bolt to add the spacers. It was screwed so tightly the tool almost snapped! The spacers are definitely needed as it barely cut the grass without these, so be mindful before ordering as I needed to get help to adjust the length. I found the grass collecting feature to be useful, and this doesn’t need emptying as often as other mowers. It collects well and doesn’t leave a lot of excess grass around. The two plastic bolts that hold the handle to the body of the mower are extremely flimsy and fall out often, I am constantly watching to make sure they don’t fall out and get chopped up by the mower! Would have been good to have some spare bolts including as the mower will be useless without these and not sure how long they are going to last. Overall, I am happy with my purchase so far, just hope the mower keeps performing as it has so far.

Great lawnmower my other one was to big and hard to move around. This is very easy to use cuts grass lovely and easy to empty into the bin as it has a small grass collector

Fabulous little grass cutter for small gardens. The driver who delivered the item went out of his way to help place the item in a secure location so that my disabled mum could store it until I came along to assemble the lawnmower. Assembly is straightforward, and the lawnmower height is adjustable via washers that are placed under the blade using the tool available. Instructions is our little difficult to follow. Materials are mainly plastic and metal and the durability should be longer lasting. The weight overall is perfect for anyone whether they’re able bodied or not.

I've used this mower for my small lawn for about 6 months now, it does exactly what you would expect from a Flymo hover mower and does so at a great price. The mower is very light and easy to manoeuvre, the blades are decent and cut effectively, even longer grass. The assembley process was easy and the instructions are were clear. I do have two issues, the grass box is very small, my lawn is about 5mx5m and I have to empty it about 4 times per cut. Its not a massive issue as the as its so light that taking the amount to the garden waste bin becomes quite tiresome when you are trying to cut the grass quickly! The second issue is build quality, I have used Flymo mowers, for more that 25 years and never really had any issues, this one however has very poor build quality. The plastic is very thin and if not correctly placed could buckle or break in the assembly. The other issue with build quality relates to the plastic hinge/retaining bolt that holds the handle to the mower, this broke after only two mows, and I have replaced it with a metal bolt I had lying around. Overall, ok for the price but build quality lets it down.

Shocked how poor it is. It,s like I,ve not mowed the lawn and it had a plastic burning smell. I miss my 7 year old Mower now. It throws grass everywhere so I,ve got loads of work brushing up the patio with ill health. It,s useless. Ive built it up, now Ive got all the hassle in dismantling. I needed glasses on to protect my eyes for all the grass and dust flying around in my face and clothes. Ive used all the spacers for the maximum cut and the lawn still has white clover flowers all over it. Can,t tell I,ve mowed and wasted my day. I know it,s a Hover mower but it has a box to collect the grass, all the myther now to return. My old mower was Bosch 7 years of stripes and a clean cut lawn. Worst mower in 40 years I've ever used. DON,T BOTHER WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY or inconvenience

Does a really good job for the size, hacks down long grass with not too much issue- grass bin is rather small but its perfect if you have a small lawn to mow and the handle folds down which is really helpful for storage

Great mower for my needs - small garden. I had a flymo years ago and it was a work horse and lasted many years. My last mower was a rottery mower and was a bit cumbersome and heavy so thought I would give flymo hover a chance again. It doesn't seem as sturdy as I remember but it's doing the job well. Easy to set up, took me about 15 minutes. I use with 3 of the spacers provided and get a decent cut on uneven ground. I've used it about 5 times now, once the initial cut done, getting used to new mower now and is working well on my small garden.
