Comparison to previous Soundpeats models - great sq!
I was kind of surprised how good these sound. And not just how good they sound for the price. Previous IEMs and stuff I use or have used daily: Soundpeats Q12 & Q30, Shure SE215-BT1, Sennheiser 300cx, Brainwavz B2, Fischer Audio Eterna, Xiaomi Piston 2, various budget IEMs and Apple & Samsung IEMs etc. etc. + AKG K550 mkII Gear: iPhone 7, Spotify (note: I won't be able to use bluetooth 5 with these, but they work regardless) Tested sounds: Rap, punk, jazz; Spotify and self recorded music as wav and mp3, Mad Men via Netflix Check my previous Q30 review here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/review/R1TECGIKAR6HJS/ref=pe_1572281_66412651_cm_rv_eml_rv0_rv In comparison to Soundpeats Q30 the sound quality is superior. Note that the Q30 has aptx but these don't - seems that you actually don't have to look for aptx phones, these are better. Otherwise it seems that the company makes its IEMs with the same base consumer oriented sound signature: nice rich bass and somewhat recessed mids. The treble is kind of hard to describe; it has some of the same funny uncrisp presentation as the Fischer Audio Eterna, yet these seem a little more sparkly. Overall the sound is clear, well presented and separated. In addition with the fact that sq actually is pretty nice, these are a pair of good fatique IEMs that you can wear all day without getting tired of the sound. I didn't have any problems with the range, I didn't count but several meters nevertheless. ...If you can make the battery last all day, which you don't. Along with many other companies, Soundpeats has made a charging box for these which is quite essential. Of course you can use the IEMs for several hours, but when you don't use them, put them in the box and they'll charge. I did the ultimate battery test by travelling in a train, the battery lasted somewhere around 4-5 hours after which I had to put them back in the box and use something else. (Finland is a big country, you really can't make any wireless phones last travelling through the whole country :) The ergonomy was a surprise, I couldn' tell from the pictures if these were big or small - I do have big ears also :D - but they go in and stay in fine and don't stick out too much, so I suppose the size is just right. For really small ears I'd say get something else, perhaps another model with a connecting wire with a battery in it. For normal or big ears these are fine. I can't really say how these work for sports as I haven't tried to use these while jogging. At the gym they work great. I recently got the Shure SE215-BT1 to be my winter jogging IEMs that I can use under a beanie or whatever without them sticking out too much. As normal IEMs they are fine, but the old bt cable is pretty terrible (the improved Shure bt-cable is around 150€ - just for the cable only - yikes!). For the third of the price you can get these Soundpeats truefree(+) phones that do pretty much everything well. Superb bang for buck. Keep up the good work, Soundpeats.

Very Comfortable and decent sound with the correct seal
Been a big fan of Bluetooth headphones and earphones since they first started appearing a few years ago, and have tried a few over the years. Always preferred over the ear for home use simply due to comfort and better sound quality but there is a place for in ear convenience and have also tried a few of these when commuting and days out. The last pair I had before these were the Samsung Buds which after five days of use I returned die to them never quite feeling right in my ears. the sound was very good but I always felt them in there. and got a bit of ear fatigue after an hour or so. After a few days did actually miss having them, especially when walking the dog, so rather than spend another £120 to get some more I started watching YouTube videos on some budget earphones. I could have the convenience of earbuds for occasional use without the expense. These SoundPeats ones seemed to get some decent review and were a 'good buy for the price' on a lot of the reviews I saw so decided to have a punt, I could easily return them if there weren't to my liking so nothing to lose. Well in comparison to the Samsung Buds I can honestly say, for my ears, they are much more comfortable. The main plastic seems to rest in your ear rather than needs to be pushed in like the Samsung buds and the rubber seals on the tips give the grip. They are very secure though and do sit nicely and feel well gripped by the ear, at no point did I feel they would fall out, even when chasing the dog across the field, the little bugger! The sound that you get is very good especially when you use an equaliser app (available for free on the play store). All music needs different sound tweaks to get the best sound, maybe a little more treble on acoustic or more bass on rock music etc and the Bass Booster app on the play store works like a dream with these. Pairing is super fast and once linked to your phone it will auto-connect every time you take them out of the case and if you take both buds out they will automatically pair withing seconds, quicker than you can get them in your ears. They are very small and light and look very inconspicuous. You'll probably know all the specs so wont repeat them other than to say I have had no issues all with the battery life and as the case charges them several times so your good for a week even with quite heavy use. for sure. Using just the right one in a work environment keeps you 'in the room' while still listening to your tunes or podcasts, and just take the other earbud out the case when you want a full-on sound break - it will simply automatically connect. The biggest thing with earphones is making sure you get the correct seal. Try all the buds that come with these until you have the perfect fitting and the sound will be so much better. I bought these with the intention of just trying them out and didn't really expect anything too good but have been so surprised by them that I have ended up writing a review while wearing them. They are definitely a keeper. For the price they are stunning - just remember it's all about the seal and you will not be disappointed. They even block out sound really well and I absolutely love these little buds. Good Bass and good volume on these. Hopefully a touch button option will be a future development rather than a press but guess that would only add to the cost. It's a very satisfying purchase and I was compelled to tell you about it. For convenience and decent sound, these will not disappoint. Now go to the top of this page and hit that Add to Basket button. You could have these in your ears com tomorrow! #peace

Incredible value for money, Sound Better Than Expected But Lacks Bass
I was highly sceptical if purchasing a budget set of true wireless, considering the lowest tier TWS to be considered in the audiophile sphere start at £100 with a median of £150, however I was pleasantly surprised! General use is incredibly easy, this is my first experience using a set of TWS straight out of the box and the transition from unpacking to connecting is seamless. As higher range TWS the connect immediately upon disconnecting from the box which is very convenient and you can also use one earphone if you choose to. Comfort wise there is no issue, I have been jogging with the pair and it maintains it's snug fit with no risk of displacing, In terms of overall sound I was able to make no distinction between the SoundPEATS and my wired SoundMagic E11s. If I were comparing the sound to my high fidelity AD700's I probably would rank this at a 2/3 for sound quality. However relative to other TWS I think the difference is not substantial and certainly not worth the uphaul in pricing that comes with it. Having said that it's notable that a bass head should definitely look further afield towards the Jabra (£100) or Beats alternatives (£170) as it is very much the SoundPEATS weakest point. It edges 4 in this category simply due to the value for money, at such a low price point the sound is better than I expected it to be. Along with ease of use noise cancellation is in my opinion the highlight and it get's 5 stars. It's perfect for listening to ambient music with a focus on highs and mids in noisy settings such as a bar or coffeeshop. Overall an excellent product and would definitely recommend.

I'm very, very Impressed!
I do a fair bit of running and hiking. Sometimes I like to hear the sounds of nature, other times I enjoy listening to music on longer runs, and Podcasts if I'm hiking. I've been through earphones too numerous to mention, from the budget end to the more expensive, and tried both wired and wireless. Wireless has the benefit of being, well wireless, especially if you have a phone without an earphone jack. One annoyance I've found has been the cord linking the earbuds can get in the way and introduce rustling noises. I decided to take the plunge and try out some true wireless earphones, I didn't want to spend a fortune on something that I might not get on with so after doing lots of research and reading reviews I bought these SoundPEATS True Free. I was seriously impressed with the standard of packaging and presentation, they look like something that should be far more expensive. I followed the instructions to pair them with my phone and stuck them in my ears with the standard tips fitted. Now I've got funny shaped ears, I sometimes have a problem with one or the other earphones coming out of my ear and having to manoeuvre them back in every few minutes. After inserting them my first thought was how good they were at blocking ambient noise, they are not " Noise Cancelling " but the isolation is very good indeed. Then I shook my head as vigorously as I could ( Imagine a Politician denying misleading the Public ) expecting one or both to pop out. They didn't budge! So I jumped up and down a bit - Nope, still there. I've just got back from a windy 5K trail run wearing them, they were excellent, felt really secure and I didn't feel that they were about to dislodge themselves whilst running over rough terrain. Now to perhaps the most important bit- sound quality. I put on a live Simon and Garfunkel album and was taken aback with the purity of the sound. They are not like my AKG wired earphones that cost far far more, but they are significantly better than I thought I could expect. The charging case is high quality, the earbuds snap precisely into place and start auto charging. Taking them out they immediately pair with my phone automatically. If there is an area of criticism it would have to be the typeface in the instructions is a tad small for my ageing eyes, apart from that I'm absolutely delighted and would buy them again at the drop of a hat. In fact I'm going to have to buy another pair, My wife asked me what they were like so I let her try them. " Ooh these are really good " so it looks like I've lost them to her ;-)

Surprisingly Good
I admit, before I bought any ‘true’ wireless headphones, I was skeptical. I’ve had wireless Bluetooth in ear ones for a while, but always the ones with a wire connecting both ears. Having tried these, I’m converted. There are pros and cons of both types, but think the pros outweigh the cons. Comfort and Security of the Fit: + I’ve tested these now at the gym and out and about, and possibly the most surprising thing for me is that they stay in and are actually really comfortable. I was concerned that by having the battery in the earpiece it would be too big, but it’s smaller than you’d think and light. - Downside to the ear buds not being connected together is that you can’t remove one ear quickly and let it be caught by the cable connected to the other around your neck - instead you need to stow it safely in the case or loose in your pocket (which I’m not keen on). This isn’t a fault of the headphones of course, and is true of any headphone of this design. + if you do just want one ear in to remain aware of your surroundings, it’s a LOT more comfortable using these than using cable headphones as there isn’t a cable to snag or another earphone to drag the cable. I really like that. Battery Life: + Very good - and moreover, they come with a case to keep each earbud in which charges them from a battery in the case itself. So essentially whenever you take them out of your ears and stow them in the case they start charging again which is useful when you’re out and about. (Essentially giving you two full charges when you’re away from home). Connecting: This took me a while to get the hang of actually: + Each earbud is essentially it’s own device, which means you can have them connected to different devices at the same time. A feature I’ve used a few times actually (in my case watching a YouTube video on how to make a certain recipe while at the same time listerning to music). - It wasn’t very intuitive to allow the headphones to connect to different devices, but I eventually learned that the Right earpiece is the master. If you connect the left one first to something and then connect the right, it’s fine. If you connect the right first then the left will just connect to that. Phone calls: +/- Certainly better than any wireless Bluetooth (cabled) earphones I’ve used, usually as the mic is on a cable which moves a lot while you’re taking. These are pretty good, but I have to say, nothing I’ve tried so far is as good at background noise isolation as using a phone directly. Phone calls are therefore only really viable in a quiet environment. Sound Quality + Decent, I’m impressed. I don’t think it’s tons better than other headphones I’ve used, but it’s at very least the same quality as wired in-ear headphones which is a compliment considering both headphones are Bluetooth. Range + I can happily move 7-8 meters away in an open room and still have sound connectivity. At home leaving an iPad upstairs I could make it downstairs and into the room underneath the device while still hearing what I’m playing. All in all, I’d say these are great headphones, and at the price ~£35, well worth it.

Sharp S/T, bright sound with artifacts and under par range
I bought the SoundPEATS TrueFree+ because I've heard good things about their basic model the 'TrueFree' from RTings, which featured a rather bass biased profile. Firstly, the comfort of these are acceptable. They sit well on the ear and don't fall out but personally I can definitely feel the casing of each bud on the ear, so it's very noticeable. Coming from my Anker Soundbuds Flow, the comfort is definitely better on the Anker, whereas on the SoundPEATS it's very obvious there's a lump of plastic pushing on my ear. This is obviously just my ears, so t will surely be different for everyone. Control wise is simple to use. Double press changes track, double press hold on second initiates personal assistant, single press play/pause. Though I really have to push the earbud into my left ear when I'm controlling from the left. Bear in mind, the earbuds are slippery as hell. I've dropped them about four times already. I've had soap with more friction than these earbuds. The passive noise isolation is rather good. I expect nothing more from these in-ear earphones. A loud and noisy environment can still be heard though. The range on these are pretty poor. Indeed they can stipulate their advertised range as 10m without obstruction, but I've had several Bluetooth 4.1 devices (Anker SoundBuds Flow and Taotronics BH21) and they can maintain a rock solid stream at 12m through one wall, 5m through two walls and a fair/few dropouts at 8m through three walls. The SoundPeats struggle at even 10m through one wall. Compared to my older BT 4.1 devices, it simply disappointing to see a BT 5.0 device perform poorly in the range department. My range tests were performed on a BT 4.0 transmitter from PC and an LG G7 (which has BT 5.0). The battery life is average, nothing to write home about. At 60% volume I got 3 hours exactly from the right earbud and 5 hours 5 minutes from the left earbud. This is largely because in stereo mode, the right earbud is the master and has to maintain the connection to the left earbud. With this in mind, it concerns me that whenever you've depleted the right earbud in stereo, they both switch off and when you put them into the charge case, the right one is charging from 0% where the left is charging from 50%. It's not great battery management as the you shouldn't be topping up the battery if it isn't even low. The only way to read the current battery level of the left earphone is to pair it in mono mode to a smart device, be it phone or tablet. Though this is rather hit and miss as the battery level doesn't always show up for me (that's the case at least for my LG G7) Of course, at this price point, you're not really expecting a priority app to accompany the earphones. Whenever the right earbud depletes, I put both of them back in the case but I slip a piece of paper under the left charge point to stop it from charging the left earbud and leave it to charge the right. I haven't benchmarked the battery life of the charge case yet, but I believe it will serve me enough for at least 10 days. As for the sound, the SoundPeats are loud enough. There is definitely a presence of bass, which isn't overpowering the rest of the frequencies. The mids are relatively fair, the vocals do come out clear and the high frequencies are bright - definitely bright and often can feel sharp, aggressive on S and T sounds. I believe there is an emphasis on the 10kHz which causes the bright and sharp highs. I recommend the application of an equalizer to get the most of these earbuds. With the relatively bright sound, it highlights the compression artefacts that you get from Bluetooth audio. Whenever I bob my head, the sound changes slightly, it's rather annoying as I lose consistency from my music. In terms of the Bluetooth connection and latency, as these support AAC as well as the conventional SBC codec. On my LG G7, when using their AAC, there is a noticeable lag in the audio sync when watching any video, whether it be from the local video player or YouTube, but switch them to SBC, the lag is greatly reduced. When they connect to my PC which only has (BT 4.0) SBC, they perform with almost no lag. As they support AAC, they always connect to my LG G7 on AAC and I have to manually change it to SBC every time. It is a minor annoyance but Android simply does not handle AAC that well and the earbuds will likely default to AAC every time they connect to any Android device that supports AAC. Make sure you change to SBC, as that potentially could reduce the lag. However, when playing games with them, there is still obvious lag. Overall, I'm rather split between these earphones. They're not great but not bad either. The battery life is probably just about average, but personally being very conscious on battery management, it's a small annoyance that there is a massive difference in the consumption. On the flip side, one could say the left earphone's battery holds out pretty well and most of the charging is on the right earbud. Hell, that's probably what SoundPeats knows anyway, i.e. 70% of the charge case is being used for the right earphone. It would be excellent if the case had hard switches to turn off the charging on either earbud charge ports and also a button to show the reading of the battery level for each earbud when in the case. Now that would be cool. Again, in the sound department, they're not bad at all, and when paired with an equalizer, it can be tuned to ones preference, though the elevated sharp highs can be impossible to dial back as there is no 10kHz bar on the equalizers I've seen. The range and connection stability for me is a real disappointment as I can't walk freely in my home without losing the connection when I use them with my PC, whereas my older BT 4.1 devices can with flying colours. I suppose I can live with them, and use them as a basic reference item for any future true wireless earphones I might buy. If I could rate them on a scale 1-10, I'd give them a 6.5.

I do go on a bit so, briefly, these are briliant
I bought these to replace my Enacfire earphones which suddenly stopped working a few days ago. The Enacfires were good but these are brilliant. The sound is crystal clear even at the highest volume. And so easy to work. Open the box, take the earphones out and wifi connection was instant. Over the past few days I've used these and also the T2 earphones which are listed as an update to these Trueform Plus. I have real trouble sleeping so lullaby myself to the likes of Led Zeppelin and The Who and if I'm not too suicidal I'll listen to Dido and Adele. I bought the T2 version a few days ago and for about 30 minutes they were great but then I touched something I probably shouldn't and they stopped working and I just could not get them going again. Not even Christy on the Help desk could help (thanks to Christy who was very patient and helpful ). So I ordered these Truefree Plus instead. They arrived the next day. Bear in mind the T2 are meant to be an upgrade and cost a lot more than these earphones. On the T2 everything is controlled by the Multi Function buttons and I began to think that, maybe, they had too many functions! In comparison these were a doddle. With these pairing and connection were immediate. With the T2 I was forever pressing the MFB looking for flashing LEDs!. The sound on the T2 is excellent but, to me, no better than the Truefree Plus. The difference between these and the T2 is that the T2 has noise cancelling and a longer battery life-looking at 10 hours whereas the Truefree battery charge lasts about 3-4 hours. You can also change the volume on the T2 MFB which you cannot do in the TrueFree but I'd choose the TrueFree Plus any time over the T2. I suspect the T2 MFBs maybe have too many "F"s for it's own good. If you're like me I always assume the more expensive the item the better it should be. These TrueFree + are practically half the price of the T2 and great value. If you don't believe me just type "Soundpeat TrueForm" in Youtube to see the professional reviews.

Good, not perfect, but good
A decent set of earbuds for the price. I bought them around Christmas time with an amazon voucher which meant they were around half price. To be honest, I’m glad I paid that. Had I have paid the full RRP I’d have felt a bit ripped off. The sound quality is good. The case looks a bit like an 80s shaving kit and a little cheap, but it’s small and charges the buds just fine. They’re comfy in my ears. They connect very quickly to my iPhone. The only issue I’ve come up with so far, that’s knocked the stars down, is that to do with the turning on and off of the buds. Remove them from the case and they turn on - great! That’s what I want. But when you place them back in the case they don’t turn off. You have to manually turn them off before they go back in the case - minor thing, but it made a difference to me as it’s one extra function to have to carry out and if you forget, you have no sound on your phone because the buds are still connected - annoying when you take a phone call and can’t hear the caller! If the buds turned off when placing them back in the case I’d feel they were worth another star. Probably a little closer to full price too. All in all, compared to some of the other Bluetooth headphones I’ve used, these are a nice quality of sound. Not too bassy or deep, but nice. Ideal for Netflix on your phone or a bit of Spotify on the way home from work. True audiophiles won’t like them, but normal people like me who just want a bit of sound now and then will enjoy them.

Buon Prodotto!
