It comes as a ridiculously huge band, my whole wrist fit through the opening, but it bends easy enough, so I think it does a great job accounting for different wrist sizes. The design is very pretty, and I get a lot of compliments from people who don't even realize it's a medical alert bracelet. The letters are very crisp, no rubbing off or fading, something I worried about.The edges of the band are a bit abrasive. I wish they had been rounded out a little. I think this was an excellent value for the cost, and much easier to put on one handed than my old chain loop medical bracelet with a clasp. I don't think a few dings are worth docking a star, when overall, the design has not been damaged, the scratches are minor around the two medical alert signs, and this bracelet has held up wonderfully even getting wet occasionally. The bracelet is lovely. The caduceus comes in a variety of colors, and it is on the inner wrist side. I chose a vibrant red. There is easily read engraving inside the band. There was room for all of the conditions and phone numbers that I wanted to list. The engraving is deep enough that it will take years to wear down. Best of all, the metal doesn't break me out.
