We took a lot of pictures and my daughter was using navigation on her phone, and we had no problem charging up quickly. I fully charged it using the wall charger before we left. I'm not so convinced that it is capable of solar charging, as we had it sitting out in direct sunlight for hours and it didn't recharge the device. I would give it 5 stars if it had.
