Its a small bento box... high quality. It washes well in the dishwasher, but not sure how long it will stay without being destroyed by the high heat. Its been fine so far. Its small, and if you are trying to keep with a reduced calorie diet, its perfect. It will not fit larger lunches... and that's the point. Its got nice nooks and crannies to keep your lunch, giving lots of small places to add some bits to eat. For kids its perfect, for western adults, well, its 600ml in size. That 600ml means its small. I put in cold cuts wrapped around cheese, cucumber, cherry tomatoes and blue berries. That's it. For me, its perfect. No, you will not fit a sandwich in it. That ain't happening. Not even cucumber sandwiches... sorry no. And its really not leak proof by any count. Its not intended for soup. Hell, I wouldn't use saucy foods even. but standard leftovers? Yeah, its perfect. Anyways, if you are looking for a small Japanese style bento box to bring to work, get it.

I got this bento box as a gift from my Japanese friend some years ago. I absolutely love it. As I'm reading comments some have mentioned it being small. That's the problem with Americans. We as a nation entirely eat way too much and way too big of portions. Which is why America is one of the fattest nations in the world. I pack all my food for the day the night before and this perfectly holds my dinner. I can fit a cup of steamed rice, fish, bean sprout salad, a quarter or an avocado, kimchi, pickled ginger and a mandarin orange perfectly. It's cute, elegant, sturdy and if dont pack anything too juicy its pretty much leak proof. Since taking on a Japanese diet, I've lost 70lbs and this bento box helped me achieve that with perfect portion sizes!

Perfect for my lunch! I bought this a while ago and am only writing the review now, the design is a little worn off but it’s still leak proof, and super easy to clean, use it everyday for my lunch, great purchase for my lunch investments

This is the first bento box I've bought online, and holy moly, it is so small! It hardly holds anything. Even though I've packed it solid, it is still small. Really nice, and pretty, and I love the color black and the cut corners on it. Also, the chopsticks and bag. Though they are small too! I was so surprised. It looked so big in the photos. NOW I know why sellers list the ml size! It must hake a difference. This box is like a child's size. If you are an American adult, please be careful-- this is not much more than a small snack tray, indeed! Maybe us Americans need to lose more weight--yeah--but wow, this bento box is SMALLLLLL! This bento box IS sort of classy looking...but I guess I eat too damn much, and I think this box is really small.

cute and practical. if you just nibble on things or do t want to bring a full lunchbox this is perfect bathe dividers come out too so if you wanted the option of bringing a little more with you can.

Nicely made bento. Slightly bigger than the caparison one provided in pictures. Really like the compartments provided. Not microwave safe due to the metal material its made out of, makes it nice and sturdy though. Could easily fit some nice dishes in. Like Sushi, Onigiri, Rice dish, Noodle dish, fruits, vegis, nuts, cut in half sandwiches.. Not all at the same time mind you. lol

This one is the best Ive had because 1.it comes with a the band that goes around it to keep it from opening and spilling. 2. Comes with chopsticks that fit inside 3.comes with a bag 4.the dividers come out so you can clean them Thoroughly. 5.delivered literally the next day !!! I noticed some people complain about how small it is. It is small for the typical American preference i think but i personally prefer that because i want good portion control! 10/10 recommend!

The bento box is very cute but it is too small to have lunch for a full day of work. It has leaked in my bag 3 times since I bought it. Not for me.

Diese Bentobox ist sehr klein. D.h. man kann sie gut mitnehmen. Praktisch ist auch dass die beiden Behälter stabil aufeinder stehen, so dass sie nicht gleich verrutschen Beim zusammenfinden. Die Stäbchen sind praktisch, da sie nicht so viel Platz brauchen wie eine Gabel. Die Farbe und das Muster sehen auch sehr schön aus: nicht so verspielt bunt mit kindlichen Motiven, aber auch nicht langweilig neutral.

È originale giapponese, anche le istruzioni sono in giapponese (ma c'è poco da istruire, è una box per il pranzo) e le bacchette comprese sono adorabili. Il separatore mobile è quello che cercavo, chi non ha mai preparato un bento magari non capisce a cosa possa servire ma per me è davvero utile! Ognuno dei due contenitori ha il suo coperchio che è praticamente a tenuta stagna. Per sollevare il coperchio bisogna usare delle piccole fessure laterali. La prima volta mette in difficoltà ma poi diventa facile. Le dimensioni sono contenute perché i due contenitori sono impilati, la molla esterna assicura di non ritrovarsi il pranzo sparso in borsa.

Nice bento box, plastic looks stable. Made is Japan.

Fits the perfect amount of food, doesn't leak, and looks cute! I wish the chopsticks were a bit bigger, but that's a sacrifice you make when you opt for a container this size. I'd also love to see a dishwasher / microwave safe version in the future, though to my understanding, traditional bentos are eaten cold. Very happy with this purchase.
