The included tools made it easy to open and close the Joy-Con. The new joystick works and looks and feels basically identical to the original joystick.

Very happy with the quality of this product. It comes with everything that you need, including a link to a set of instructions. I didn't use the link, but I did use the part and tools that it came with. It was a straight forward process and I didn't even need to calibrate the joystick after installing it. It was already calibrated perfectly. Only thing I needed to do besides replace my broken joystick was to update the controllers. I would definitely buy from this seller again IF I were to break another joystick.

I’m not going to say it was simple (clumsy fingers) but there were relatively few steps involved, the provided tools worked well, and I ended up with a fixed left joystick, no more drift! Although the video they give the link to was helpful, I found better ones on YouTube, so if the video they recommend isn’t doing it for you just take a peek at others. I’d say watch all the way through once, then attempt while pausing the video as needed. You can do it!

I received this item, set it on the counter and jumped in the shower. When I came out my 12 son informed me he had repaired the joystick. I was going to do it when I got out of the shower, Soni asked if he watched the repair video. He said "What video?" He did it on his own with 0 help so evidently this is a pretty simple repair and the kit was good enough a 12 year old can do it without help or supervision. 5 stars.

I used this kit to fix drifting Joy Cons and the replacement joysticks feel smooth and responsive just like new. The included tools and thumb grips are a nice bonus, though the installation takes a bit of patience if you’ve never opened a controller before. Overall, it’s a cost-effective fix that works perfectly and saves you from buying new Joy Cons.

In a pinch when you are dealing with annoying controller drift on one (or both) of your joy cons, this handy dandy kit provides a budget friendly solution to the bane of your existence, controller drift. Instead of buying new joy cons outright ($60+), you can fork over a few bucks and skip that coffee run for a day. Having the tools included was a major plus! The screws are so miniscule that most households would not have that size screw bit to retrieve them. Including the extra analog stick covers was a nice touch too! Especially if you do have extra controllers, they can get some love, too! Highly recommend now that my wife doesn't accuse me of cheating at Mario Party when her controller drifted across the screen.

These joystick replacements seem to work well enough, but I can only recommend them if you are replacing both joysticks at the same time. The color match is not great, with these sticks being much brighter than the stock ones. Unfortunately, I didn't notice how big a difference there was until after I replaced my faulty stick. I didn't want to replace my other perfectly functioning joystick (if you've worked on Lites, you know how much of a pain it is to get down to the right-side stick), so I figured I'd just put some nice caps over them and call it a day. Surprise! The size is off also! These replacements are smaller in circumference, and any caps I put on them would just spin around freely, while the fit on the stock joystick is nice and snug. So now I have a lopsided Switch Lite. It adds character I guess? Not the worst, but definitely not the best. Unless you like the look of smaller, brighter joysticks, I'd look elsewhere for replacements.

This has everything needed to replace a joycon. I watched a YouTube video that walked me through the process and this kit had absolutely everything needed. It was perfect! Saved me a lot of money to do it myself

Muy buen kit de reparación, el hecho de que traiga 4 sticks es muy bueno, siento que las gomas protectoras están de más pero se agradecen. Los que si son muy buenos son los frenos de metal para que el control no se deslice. Mi único inconveniente es que me hubiera gustado que el material de las pinzas fuera más rígido ya que se doblan las puntas muy fácilmente.

Mi primera impresión fue muy buena, lo único que puedo criticar es que llega todo en la cajita de plástico de la imagen y en el sobre de Amazon, nada más. Aún así no tuve problemas con que llegara maltratado o dañado, leí que algunos les llegan los joysticks defectuosos pero supongo que yo tuve suerte de no tener que pedir un cambio. La instalación es muuuy fácil, si tienes cuidado de no usar mucha fuerza, incluso si es tu primera vez reparando una consola como yo. Los videos que ponen en la tarjetita creo que son muy poco explicativos, yo personalmente vi mejor un video mucho más largo que les recomiendo ver para hacer la instalación, está en Youtube, en el canal de iFixit, sobre cómo reparar el Joycon drift (está en inglés). Hay muchas opciones de video en Yotutube. Una vez cambiados los joysticks no he tenido problemas, la calidad para mi gusto se siente muuuuy buena, demasiado diría yo, a pesar de que en efecto son repuestos provenientes de China. Espero que duren bastante, que no tenga que volver a cambiarlos de hecho. Si tengo problemas o detallles con los nuevos joysticks, actualizaré o subiré una nueva opinión del producto, pero hasta ahora, yo le daría 6 estrellas. *Actualización* Estoy escribiendo esto después de 3 meses de haberlos instalado (de julio a octubre). No podría estar más satisfecho. Los joysticks se sienten de excelente calidad y hasta ahora no he tenido ni el más mínimo problema. Ya hasta había olvidado qué se sentía jugar sin unos controles defectuosos. *Actualización 2* Escribo esto cerca de 8 meses después de haber comprado dos pares de kits. El par de joysticks de la consola de mi hermano ha empezado a presentar el mismo problema del Joy Con drift. Cabe aclarar que mi hermano les da un uso muy rudo y constante (alrededor de 4-7 hrs diarias). Por mi caso, mi par de joysticks siguen de maravilla, sin algún problema (mi uso es muy muy poco, de 3-5 hrs por semana).
