Physical power switch gives reliable battery life iwith great sound quality
No matter what many might think this prior Bluetooth generation earpiece is awesome for noise cancelling, comfort of wear for long use and superior quality of sound, it HiFi so if your other end is using decent audio equipment you get decent sound if they use exceptional equipment you get great sound quality.Once fully charged the battery stays charged for more than a year if not in use, verified for over 2 years with a misplaced piece.

Super impressed with this thing
UPDATE: I stupidly stupidly lost my 508341 getting out of a car on 52nd St. in Manhattan a couple weeks ago. One of those "I totally saw it coming" things too. I'm not a big fan of owning 'stuff', but when you misplace or lose something and it effs up your life - well, that's a sign it's super-useful 'stuff'. I was a mess without it and couldn't buy a replacement fast enough. Thankfully I'm back in business! This is a great headset. Thank you Sennheiser.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've owned a zillion headsets over the years - wired and wireless. I even have custom-made ear tips for my old Jabra units, which are super-comfy. I gave up on wireless headsets a couple years ago after Jabra EOL'd one of the products I was using (or something like that) and stuck to wires - always being annoyed - eventually to the point of wanting to go wireless again. I was not price sensitive, so the search space was broad. I did not need a pair of devices (earphones - no music) just phone call support (and the occasional audiobook). I read every friggin' comparison-review I could find and narrowed things down to 3-4 products that I did a deep dive on. In the end, I wasn't totally gleeful with any of the data I was collecting. Everything had trade-offs.But Sennheiser kept popping up in my research - and I own a couple of their high-end headphone products, which are top-notch. But I assumed any sort of telephony products by Sennheiser would be some sort of adjunct-brand product, not a real product. After my dissatisfaction with the 3-4 products I had initially identified, I decided to poke in on some of the Senn products, and to my surprise was finding great reviews. They still had some caveats based on user opinions but the 508341 looked like it was addressing all the complaints. The product was very very new and it wasn't obvious it was yet released in the US. I found it on Amazon via BuyVPC and decided to take a flyer.Skeptical from the get-go, I have been nothing but pleasantly surprised. Dare I say, maybe even 'happy' with my headset. I found the right-sized earpiece and use it without the wrap-over plastic hook. Unless I'm jumping up and down or running during calls :-) it totally stays put - and that was important to me - those over-ear loops piss me off. It paired easily with my phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 9) and my computer (MacBook Air 13" 2017). I switch between phone calls on my phone and audio- and video- conference apps on my computer (Google, Zoom, Appear, etc.). It almost always "does the right thing" when moving between the two devices - though every now and then I have to actively do the connection via the BT software on the device - or sometimes just shut off the BT on the device, forcing it to move to the other device. But I've never cursed it out :-) as it's always "done the right thing". The battery life has also been phenomenal and the recharge time is super quick as well. Audio quality is top-notch. Noise-cancelling is top-notch.The only one nitpick I have is that when I use it with Audible for listening to audio books, it's about one or two 'clicks' shy of being loud enough for me. It's totally usable at max volume for the audiobooks, but I wish it could go "one higher" (a la Spinal Tap). For calls, I rarely, if ever, need to turn it all the way up. Just something weird about Audible, I guess.Net-net, I'm a happy camper. I use this thing for up to six hours a day and it never breaks a sweat. Sometimes I don't use it for days at a time and it holds its charge fantastically. Quality headset.

So far, so good
Still early at this point, only had 3 months. Having said that, this is easily the best bluetooth headset I've ever owned. Did my research, compared at least a dozen reviews, looked at specs, features, buyer reviews, pros/cons, etc. Easy to use, sound level is fantastic and I've asked people about the noise cancellation and compare to other headsets I've used and all report a greatly increased sound quality, and usually ask what model it is. Battery life is superior to anything I've owned. The button on the body, is a bit "slight" and you do have to hold the headset firmly, or press it against your ear to ensure you can press it in, but that's a minor consideration for me. I also found the ear bud and adapters to be just a bit "off." Not like I have funny shaped ear holes so far as I know, but the headset doesn't settle in as nicely as others I've had, and it often feels like it's going to shift. I know it has an ear loop, but I don't like those, so not a option. It's not bad, just not optimal for my ear. Still, I'd buy it again if I had to and will probably look to this brand/line when I need to replace this one.

Stupid Power Switch / Power is Too Directional.
Everything about this product is great except for two things.#1, the power switch is the dumbest thing ever. It's the boom that you pull out. Maybe it's just me but mine is CONSTANTLY getting shut off because I set it on my desk, it's bumped a little bit and it's off. It's super annoying and should be changed in any future version.#2, the microphone is TOO directional. If I don't have the thing aimed directly at my mouth, callers CANNOT hear me. Of course, it gets moved around a lot so I'm constantly getting people saying "I can't hear you". I have to adjust and then they hear me. Again, super annoying.Other than these two gripes, the thing is great. The sound quality I hear is great and the battery life seems really good (although possibly it's partially because the damn thing is always shutting off on me).Looking forward to a newer, better version of this product with these serious flaws remedied.

durability is the worst feature
i've ordered about 4 of these ... seems like once per year.. the comfort is only so/so - i find my ear hurting a bit if where for over 4 hours. But, the reason i keep coming back to these is the sound and noise cancellation. By noise cancellation, I mean the cancellation of noise that is transmitted to the person on the other end of the line. other than unique, abrupt noises; you can have a phone call in a loud restaurant, loud tv, etc and the person can't hear it. fantastic. The worst thing is the silly slide on/off design. It breaks, becomes loose, too easy to slide off if you are adjusting ear fit... its just dumb and very weak. if they could change that design, 5-stars all day long..
