Garden of Life Organic Plant Protein Vanilla Powder, 10 Servings

My favorite protein powder. Mixes well. Great taste. Blends well with fruits into smoothies. Also makes a great protein cream shake when blended with banana almond milk.

Great Flavor and super smooth! Love the vanilla flavor but have also used the unflavored and it is just as good. So easy to make a smoothy with this. We blend this protein with some fruit and almond milk and make popsicles for the Grands...they love them! If I could I would give ingredient quality a 10, I have tried every protein out there!

Love this protein. Extremely smooth and digests easily. The vanilla is rich, and this whips up easily into a delightful recovery drink. I have also purchased the G of L Fit, and it's not half of what this is. Although that blend has some other ingredients, this one is much tastier. Though I prefer raw, I opted for this one for the calorie ratio and a quick post-work out or early morning charge. Price point is excellent on S & S (15 percent) and it's vegan friendly. Win all around.

Wasn't sure I'd find a grain free protein that has drinkable flavor. Vanilla okay, dissolves okay, and 10 grams of a "complete" protein is more than sufficient. Low on the fiber. In a smoothie, added fruit makes up for the lack of fiber. My 4-star rating, after taste of stevia unfortunate and a little on the sweet side. Still found it to be the best grain-free protein supplement.

UPDATE July 2017: I recently purchased another bag of the product and indeed, there is a strong and noticeable artificially sweet taste now present. Very much a bummer. It overwhelms my green smoothies almost entirely. Even though I found this powder considerably smoother/better blending than Garden of Life Hemp powder, I don't think I'll be buying it again. ////old review below/// i make strong vegetable heavy smoothies in the morning and this powder rounds out the taste wonderfully. i'm sensitive to fake/sugar tastes and didn't find this in any way negative. after i purchased and threw away the package, i noticed other customers saying the formula had been recently changed. i just reordered another package so we'll see if i notice anything, but otherwise i recommend this. it's very very smooth and filling but not overly so

This is the only brand I have seen that doesn't have a single one of my 6 true food allergies or 55 food sensitivities. I've been using the smooth energy, and it's good too, but not as tasty as the vanilla. I use two servings, as this is my breakfast, and 1/4 avocado for creaminess and body (allergic to nuts and dairy), along with some frozen blueberries, raw honey and 10 ounces of Smart water. Really good! Thanks to Garden of Life for making a protein powder I can have!

I have always had issues with protein, being that I just found out I'm lactose intolerant. So this helps a lot. I mainly use it for cooking, gives me an extra kick in my banana pancakes. It is a little gritty, but nothing I can't manage. (By little, I mean very little.) If you use almond milk with it, it tastes amazing! Def a great choice!
