Burt's Bees Mama Body Oil with Vitamin E, 100% Natural Origin, 5 Fluid Ounces

Alright so I have really dry skin and I always had trouble keeping my face from flat out rotting out from dryness (TMI but sorry its important). My sister use to have one of these in her room and she would let me borrow it from time to time and it was amazing so I decided to buy one for myself. I will go over the pros and cons below: PROS: ~ Because it has this oil base when I put it on my skin it is so soothing! Idk, if this is recommended but sometimes I put the body oil in the fridge for a few minutes to make it cool and when I put it on it has this amazing feeling. ~ a few drops works a long ways: Every night I would put 3 drops in my hands and rub it around my face and it easily does the job of completely moisturizing my whole face. There are many times where I would wake up and my face would still feel moisturized from the day before. ~ the scent of this is amazing. It smells like a combo of lemonade and honey. ~Adding on to a few drops works a long ways. I have used 3 drops every night for about half a year now and Im barely 1/5 done with the small bottle. If you follow my routine this small bottle will easily last you over a year. CONS: ~ the packaging it came in was absolute wackness. Wrapping a thin layer of plastic around the bottle is not a good idea. ~ always keep the bottle upright. Due to the oil nature of the moisturizer it some how leaks a lot. There's really not that many cons about the product its pretty amazing. A 10/10 good buy.

Used to get this at Target, but they no longer carry this size. Now they only carry very small bottles of it or not at all. This was exactly what I was needing. For those who have not used Burt's Bees oil it has a nice smell, is NOT sticky, rubs in well, and leaves your skin soft. My wife used it on her stomach for all three of our children. May sound odd, but I like to use it on my beard in the winter to keep my beard and skin soft. I don't buy a lot of other oils, so I don't really know how it compares price wise. I do not that I have seen a lot of oils that cost a lot more. I also know that baby oil at Walmart is a lot less expensive. Either way, I have been pleased with it for many years.

I’ve used this product for both of my pregnancies and I love it! The lemon smell is soft and the oil soaks in fast. I havnt noticed any oil spots on my clothes either after use, which is great. For the price, I would consider it pretty reasonable in comparison to others I’ve used brands.

Love this oil. It has left me feeling super hydrated throughout my pregnancy. I have still ended up with stretch marks, so can’t claim it keeps those away. If you put the oil on daily, the bottle does get used up quickly (maybe all oils are like that though. I have never used them before). Keep an eye on the pricing because it fluctuates. It was around $15-$16 each time I bought it in the past 7mo but now is almost $20. Just something to be aware of.

My absolute favorite oil ever!!! The smell is beautiful 😍 I cannot find it at any stores anymore 😔 and it's getting more and more expensive when I go and buy it online, not to mention, harder to find. I hope that doesn't mean it is on it's way to being discontinued. I've tried other lemon oils by other brands and they just don't hold up to this one. It's the best. I basically drench myself in it after I turn the water off after a shower and then pat towel dry and I smell amazing and my skin is so silky. It's a great base for my perfume too. 🙏🏼 Burt's bees, don't stop making this!!!!

I’m 37 weeks now and my weight gain has slowed so I thought it would be a good time to write this review. I used two products faithfully, morning and night, starting as early as 12 weeks. Bert’s Bees Belly Oil immediately after my nightly shower, and Honest Belly Lotion first thing in the morning. I don’t have any stretch marks as of today, but I believe that my weight gain played the most significant role. My pre-pregnancy weight was 114 and my current weight is 139, so by my due date I will have gained 28 at most. I believe this is attainable for literally anyone. I ate mostly whole foods (grains, dairy/meat, veggies, fruits) and tracked my calories in an app. I avoided sugar and fast food as much as possible. I’ve also been pretty physically active throughout pregnancy, but I don’t think that had an influence on my skin. I just wanted to encourage any first-time mamas reading these reviews (like I was) who want to stay healthy and beautiful during this challenging and exciting time. You absolutely got this! And speaking of getting this, get this product, you won’t regret it. Misc -One bottle lasted one pregnancy for me -Got a rash once because I didn’t shower before using -Transferred to a travel-sized pump bottle for easier dispensing

I have recently come across the benefits of using a body oil post-shower. I'm 6 months postpartum and during pregnancy, like many women I had a concern about stretch marks. I did use a fragrance free almond oil every so often during pregnancy. But it is after pregnancy that I realized my body needs a moisturizing and nourishing body oil to recover from dryness. I researched A LOT! to invest in a good body oil. Since, there is a wide variety of body oils in the market, I couldn't decide on a single product. Ofcourse during my research when I finally decided to look for an affordable body oil, Burt Bees came up a lot. Burt Bees is one of my favorite brands when it comes to be being as natural a product as possible. I have been using their lipbalms, lip tints etc for years now. So purely on the basis of trust in the brand I decided to purchase this body oil. I applied this on right after shower and must say smells pleasant love it! It feels oily for sometime after application but is absorbed and doesn't feel greasy later. The texture is not watery or runny so it's slightly a task to spread it all over. Given it's an oil I would guess the texture is on the thick and greasy side - that's fine by me as it gets absorbed and light later during the day. I will update my review again after seeing long term benefits on my skin. For now, I'm using it to improve elasticity of my skin, dryness etc. So far so good!

I started using this amazing Nourishing Oil when I was 19 weeks pregnant. I'm on my 38th week now and no stretchmark at all!! My mom had stretchmarks and although they say it's on your genes, I'm very happy I don't have it yet. It smells really great, not too strong for a sensitive nose of pregnant lady. Because I apply this oil more often on my belly than on other body parts, I actually noticed that during my pregnancy, my belly has the best looking skin compared to my legs, arms etc. On my 2nd bottle now and will definitely continue using it!
