As much as possible, I try to purchase products that are as few ingredients as possible. My step mum makes her own soap at home, and my very favorite bar she's ever gifted me was her own olive oil soap. Of every commercially made olive oil soap I've tried in lieu of step-mum's, this is the best! My skin never feels dried out, but it cleans VERY well. It's a wonderful bonus that it's incredibly gentle as well, without any fragrances or unnecessary additives. Great for my sensitive skin :)

I've been using the Kiss my face olive oil soap for years! I'm allergic to scented products and this soap works great for me! It does have a slight smell from the olive oil but I've had no problem with that. The quality is always great! Some days I wash my hands a lot and my hands still don't feel dry! I usually buy a 3 pack and they last for months! You do want to keep it on a soap dish that keeps the soap dry to make it last longer. It cleans well without drying out my skin. Just add some water to your hands and you get a creamy soap. I used liquid soap before but found that I have no need for it anymore.

I bought this olive oil bars particularly for my kids. I used to use some sort of natural-organic kid bath soap for them before, however it was both expensive (over $4 per bar) and after a while it seemed to me nothing more than a marketing trick with some questionable elements in the ingredients section. I am very pissed off about the long list of materials that are used to make most of the soaps in the market. As a person who is interested in soap making (just hanging around the soap making websites and gathering some knowledge, not tried myself yet) I believe quality soap can be made by blending simple ingredients, especially when considering the fact that soap has been around for thousands of years. This soap attracted my attention by its simplicity. Just settled olive oil, nothing more which is a peace of mind. I started using them as a bath soap for my kids. I can't say it is a 'no tear' soap but it must be mild since they have not complained about pain yet (we have taught them not to open their eyes and they mostly obey though.) After a while we have started using it as regular bath soap for us and finally hand washing too. As you can confirm with various soap making websites, olive oil is slippery, mousturizing and gentle to skin. It also softens hair making it easier to shape. It is traditionally the only ingredient in castille soap. Yet again, lack of other oils like coconut oil and especially palm oil, makes it weak in some areas. For example it lacks the creamy leather feel that palm oil offers. To me it is not a big deal and I am pretty happy with what it is, yet those who are after that buttery, creamy, thick feeling should look for something that has other blends of oil. Finally, around $1.6 per bar is okay for a soap of this quality. I sometimes buy ivory from a local retailer at less than half the price per bar but considering how synthetic it is, comparing those two would not be fair... As long as the price keeps being appealing, I will keep ordering it until I start making soap myself...

I bought this soap after searching for cruelty free products and I was not disappointed. It's not the most moisturizing soap, so I will probably use it in the warmer months, but it makes my skin feel soft and smooth.

I am allergic to most soaps, but not this one. I’m just so happy that I can find something that doesn’t break me out. There is a slight smell, but nothing too strong. Lasts a long time.

I've heard of the brand so figured I'd give it a try. I am in no way a soap purist but, well, maybe now I realize I am. FYI seller made it non-returnable. And Amazon wouldn't give me a stupid $6 credit. It's "OLIVE OIL" soap, and it is green as advertised. Size as advertised. 2 of the 3 bars were broken. (I thought, so what, its soap. Still.) BUT the other ingredients come before the *olive oil* (based on product ingredients list). WEIRDEST white film on certain parts of the soap...don't have a clue what it is. Not powder, almost like a mold, but not. If anything the weird white powder splotches tell me the product was stored improperly, and for quite a while. Even the packaging was not up to snuff. Soap bar (dry, I didn't wet it) is very dry (in texture...its strange to hold a bar of dry-feeling soap). Smells like a dirty, slightly polluted beach. Is this because salt is an ingredient? Or because they use less than quality olive oil? Or? (Salt is actually a common, perfectly acceptable ingredient for soap, homemade or not, but based on the salty-dirty-beach smell, there must be a bunch of salt in it, so I asked myself rhetorically - how can that possibly be moisturizing?) Nowhere near a decent olive oil soap. (I purchased this brand only because several of the REAL olive oil soaps I usually buy on Amazon, pure with laurel/bay leaf oil, made outside of the U.S., were unavailable.) Tip: if you want the real deal olive oil soap it is worth spending a little extra on the middle eastern/greek region soaps as they are hand made and cut, and one bar lasts one person's body a good 3 months because they're incredibly dense. Sure, two bars may be $12, but yeah that will last you 4-6 months. And man, those soaps are TO DIE FOR! And those soaps are SO dense that there is no way they could break. (Okay and the video they use for the product - a blender with olives, salt and water... Uh.... nope, because if you put those three ingredients in to a form and expected them to dry in to a nice homemade soap, you'd fail. Well, I'm guessing here, but it's misleading. I get the point of the video, cool, but no.) Stars: I chose one star overall, because it arrived on time and had it been from the store it would likely have been in better condition. I chose 1 for sensitive skin and 1 for moisturizing because I can't write N/A as I won't try the soap - I don't want to use salt to clean my skin, and the white powder spots are weird, and - I just know that there is NO WAY I would give this to a guest who has sensitive skin or needs moisture. Bleagh.

Absolutely love this soap. Someone recommended it to me, since I have a corn allergy and I have found the soap works really well. Someone also mentioned about not leaving it where it stays wet and I do agree! I recently bought my second box and will continue buying this soap! Highly recommend! 3 bars lasted me several months. Even my husband has used it and had no complaints.

Bought two packs of this September 17 not yet a month ago today and the price is almost double today. I loved the soap and wanted to get some to keep because they last a long time once you get used to the almost mechanic smell.They don’t aggravate my sensitive skin and I have started showers with them as well but will stop since the price has gone up so substantially. It rinses well but you do need to rinse a bit longer. The size is great for bathroom use it lasted almost a month. I wouldn’t say it’s moisturizing, but it doesn’t dry my skin out either. Overall I was super happy to find such a clean soap with minimal ingredients and it’s produced in Greece (another win) but not happy with how the price jumped so suddenly. I will probably still get these just because of all the positive qualities. But definitely not cool on the price jump making them almost $2 a bar. Would have given it a 5 Star review but the price hike is not cool

Such a minimalist (in terms of ingredients) product that does the job well & does not give (after shower) drying feeling. It produces enough foam to lather your body (although not as much like body wash liquid). It has a faint scent (of olive oil), but not off putting, and the scent went away after a while. Also (I have eczema spots on feet) does not cause itch (like some other soap brands, after using).

Seems I got a good batch because it did not smell like cigarettes or anything else bad. Does have a certain scent that stays on you for a bit but I wouldn't say it's bad. Does a great job at cleaning off resin and moisturizing. I'd say I wouldn't use it as an everyday soap bar but for certain jobs for sure.
