Great product! Was super easy to install and take down when needed. Sturdy and the gate has a great locking mechanism which our toddler has not yet figured out lol great value for the money

This is a sturdy, well made gate that is easy to set up. We love the wider opening which makes it easier to pass through when carrying larger objects. We used the pressure mount option and it easily holds against our energetic puppy! The spaces between bars are narrow enough that we don’t have to worry about the pup getting stuck. All in all, an excellent, attractive gate!

This is a great gate. It was easy to install and our puppies now know their boundaries. It’s worked perfectly! Well made and high quality.

Once we got the measurements and read the first page or two of the instruction manual, we had no problem installing the gate. It was super easy, easier than I even anticipated. Just want to stress the importance of not messing with the tightening once you’ve cut the red zip tie that has a sign that says do not cut until after install. It messes with the way the gate shuts. Make sure it’s secure, cut the red zip tie and don’t mess with it. It works beautifully. I’m so happy with it. Easily worth the money. We’re getting at least 3 more because we have 3 levels of our home and 2 sets of stairs so we’ll have a total of 4 gates. We simply used the pressure based install rather than the screws because our home is newly renovated and we don’t want to mess up the walls and the brand new banisters. It’s insane how sturdy this baby gate is. I’m thoroughly impressed and I absolutely love how nice it looks. 10 out of 10 recommend. UPDATE::: This update has everything to do with having to remove the gate and then reinstall it. I genuinely believed once you install the gate (using the pressure mounts only) that it absolutely could not be removed and reinstalled. Boy was I wrong. Yes, the initial instructions say not to cut the big red zip tie until you’ve finished the installation, but it’s not as scary as they make it seem. You can literally remove this gate however many times you need to and then reinstall it just fine. The one thing you will need, however, is heavy duty zip ties (or multiple regular but elongated zip ties). Which we had because we had been in the process of moving . Because we moved into our newly renovated home very recently from a super tiny 2 bedroom apartment, we had to buy a lot of new furniture. I was concerned about the fact that we wouldn’t be able to reinstall the baby gates if we had to remove them and we were fully prepared to just chuck these in that case and buy 2 new gates. I mean, what the heck are you supposed to do with a toddler running around? Just not put in a gate because it’s gonna get in the way 3 weeks later when the furniture is delivered??? Of course not. What happens when you remove the pressure from the pressure mounts is that the door part of the gate basically separates and your first instinct is to panic. Which is exactly what I did. But fear not, for I have the answer! You’re absolutely going to need to use some brute force and some sort of zip tie, be it heavy duty or just basic, but what you need with the zip tie is to simply “scrunch” it to the point you can get the gate back into the place you had it installed initially. For us, we had them at the top and bottom of our staircase. As long as it fits, all you have to do is reinstall it like you did the first time. And I did this for the bottom and top of our staircase. Once you get the gate to fit through the space you needed it to fit into, you just keep spinning the little black piece around the screw on both sides and both top and bottom until it’s back into place and BAM it works just like it did before. Because of this, I am an even bigger fan of these gates. They look amazing they function perfectly and you can remove them over and over if necessary. Freaking awesome. Again, this is only for the pressure mount option. I have no idea if this works for the permanent screw mount.

Excellent quality and is performing very well. Easy to assemble and adjust and the door is very reliable. The unit itself is a 5-star!! My issue was that it comes with assembly warnings on both sides of the handle and one that goes from the top to the bottom of the door frame. Even with a razor blade a goo-gone, they are impossible to remove without dulling or damaging the finish! And removing them- it took literally twice as long as unpacking and assembling the gate! I went from satisfied to really irritated. The stickers are assembly warnings- so they are not intended to be permanent. Change the adhesive so that’s true- then you have a 5-star for sure.

I purchased this gate to keep a small 10 pound dog from going up and down the stairs. It is an attractive, black lightweight metal gate.The gate swings in either direction and will closed very well when not opened to the 90° point, which works perfect for going through the gate multiple times per day and not having to wonder whether it is actually latched or not. I mounted it to the posts on the stairway using the pressure method so no holes into my wood posts. It hold securely with no way the dog is going to knock it over. It was easy to put together. The instructions were very clear and it took me maybe 15 minutes to put the whole thing together and get it put up on the stairwell. It has a set of rounded supports to go against the flat parts of the stair rails at the bottom, but the tops of the post are rounded, and so it has a set of Y shaped adapters that worked outstanding. There were no missing parts. It arrived on time and was packaged very well with no scratches on the black metal. It also has a nice little step on the bottom, which would allow you to roll something over it, like maybe a stroller, if it was being mounted in a hallway. It was a great buy, and I think well worth the price.

Came with multiple mounting methods, very helpful when you don’t want to drive a screw into your wood casings. We use it for our pets, and has been sturdy enough to slow me down a few times. We like the mechanical auto locking too. Great welding, my toes will vouch for it! Painted well, and overall great quality. Being used in a 52 in doorway.

Expensive but worth every penny. It’s true black. Closes on its own. Super sturdy. I got the extra tall. Dimensions fit my space perfectly. Love this.
