What bad can actually be said about these
What bad can actually be said about these? For the price, I don't think they can be beat. I like how roomy they are. They will accommodate anything I may have on should I need them. I also like the snaps at the bottoms of the legs, to not only keep rain out, but also keep them from dragging the ground, as they are a bit long for me. Yes: They are noisy. You won't be sneaking up on any wildlife in these! But you'll be much drier, especially if you pair these with a decent rain jacket! No: These don't pack into a tiny little package. But they're much less expensive than those which do! These have, along with a rain jacket, found a permanent home in my camera backpack for wildlife and landscape photography. A quick tip: Put the jacket on first. Keeping your torso dry, firstly, is more important. Secondly, putting these on first in the rain will result in rain running into them before you can get the jacket on! So yes: Jacket first, then pull these on and tuck everything but the jacket into them.

a nice pair of pants to add to our raingear stash
these pants are good quality! not too thick and not too thin. my husband normally wears 32x32 and tho these say 31 on the size chart, they are definitely roomy enough over at least a base layer and likely over jeans as well. tho they do make some noise, they aren’t super bothersome. of course, they’d be too loud for hunting. (we took video to try to capture the sound and size on - i’m struggling to get it uploaded, so check back later). i suspect they’ll be okay getting on and off over running shoes, but work or hiking boots would likely be a problem. we will consider re-waterproofing them again next season, if needed, but i suspect they’ll last at least a couple seasons. we will take them for our upcoming backpacking trip if there’s lots of rain in the forecast. if not, we’ll keep these in our adventure stash but probably pack our lightweight ponchos. ps. seller accepts returns, but you pay return postage. at ~ $10, these are clearly a great value to have on hand for backup. (i have recently purchased several brands of raingear to compare and review on our upcoming trip, so check those out, if it’d be helpful!)

Sturdy, lightweight, waterproof
Very lightweight (12 oz) and do the job well. Make sure you know they are a bit long and they don't fit over hiking shoes easily so you would need to take off the shoes to put them on. Do have a snap to seal up the bottom cuffs. Not really sure why they have side pockets (velcro closed) unless it is to have access to shorts/pants pockets under them. These opening could let in rain but haven't yet for me. Very good value and not too bulky.

FAIL - water soaked right through
I bought 2 pairs of these pants -- one for me, and one for my son -- for a backpacking trip we were going to do. I knew they were cheap, so I didn't expect them to be breathable. Fine. What I DID expect was for them to keep us dry. Unfortunately, they failed both of us miserably. We had constant rain as we were hiking. I made sure that the rain pants came up over my shorts, my shirt was tucked in to the rain pants, and my rain jacket was pulled down over them top of the rain pants. There should have been no way for rain water to get to my clothes. By the end of a day hiking in steady (but not torrential) rain, my shorts were soaked. When I was sitting down eating lunch, I would watch a drop of rain fall on the pants. It stayed beaded on the surface of the fabric for a little while, and then it slowly soaked right into the fabric. So, it might slow down the rain getting to your clothes underneath, but it will NOT stop it. That's the least I expect from rain gear. Even a trash bag will do that much. As a result of relying on these rain pants for a week in the backcountry, I was consistently soaking wet. I have to consider these rain pants a failure. I regret getting them, and I would NOT recommend them.

Perfect for snow and rain in Alaska
These were perfect for Alaska, we wore them over our clothing and it also kept us warm. They are wide enough to cover jeans, tights and my husband's sweat pants. It has no pockets just holes for you to access your pockets on your jeans, etc.

These are medium weight plastic rain slickers and worth every penny.
The pants are great for the price. I was hoping they were a polyester fabric material with a pvc coating on the inside, but they are a solid pvc material instead. There is absolutely no way water is penetrating this material, in or out. Moisture on the inside is condensation or sweat, and I’m fine with that. I’m five ten and about 165. I wear size 32” waist and 30” inseam usually. I went with the medium to wear over my pants and thermals and the fit is completely acceptable. I think the small would have been ok without my pants underneath, but they would have been snug if I was wearing my normal pants too. The medium is just loose enough over my normal clothing for my liking. The dorky elastic waist band fits my 32/33” waist fine. Overall they are fantastic rain pants for the price. $14 with shipping is ridiculous. I am completely satisfied with my purchase.

Basic Rain Gear, basic price
Fit perfectly over my jeans, the XL is roomier (plenty of room for long underwear and jeans under) but the elastic waist still keeps them up fine, the L is closer-fitting and doesn’t make my legs look fat but the back of the waistline doesn’t go above top of my jeans - not a problem, it’s high enough to stay up and under my rain slicker. I like to go for walks and bike rides in wet Washington fall/winter and would come home soaked without these. If I exert myself too heavily these will trap perspiration but it’s not as cold or wet as getting rained on, so... I prefer the pass-through pocket slits rather than pockets in the rainwear because frankly I don’t trust the security of actual pockets in rainwear, things inevitably come out of them without my noticing. So these very basic models suit me, and so does the price.

Fits right, does its job, and NOT too ugly/smelly
I bought the rain jacket (S440) and pants (S441). I'd read a bunch of reviews that it works but is ugly or that the plastic winds up smelling like chemicals. But I'm please to report: it's fine! I'm 6'1" 170 lbs and bought both in M, and it fits perfectly -- not too boxy or anything. It's not going to win fashion awards, but you're not buying rain gear like this to wear to the office of to the opera -- this is *gear* and you're wearing it to stay warm while bicycling or hiking or doing chores outside in heavy rain, especially in the cold. And it really is *perfect* for that, and looks *fine* for that. I was mostly worried about smelling like chemicals -- I'm *super* super sensitive to that, and once threw a horrible plastic shower liner out the window after opening it it was so bad. But this had a very mild smell that went away after airing out for a couple of days, so no worries. And for the price, this is probably the best value-for-money of any clothing item I've ever purchased... so 5 stars! (Additional advice: when I bought it most sellers were shipping from the UK, but I was able to find at least one "fulfilled by Amazon" for both jacket and pant, so look for those if you want normal shipping times.)

Impermeables y vistosos

Acquisto ok! Molto soddisfatto.
