Love this hair spray. Holds without the heaviness of some sprays. No skin reactions like I have gotten with others. Will continue purchasing.

The "New Look" version is DEFINITELY not the same as the old one. I'm super sensitive to scents and the new one is waaaay stronger and different. The New Look version also DOES NOT hold like this version. It would hold my curls no matter how humid it was BUT I curled my hair and went left for work and by the time I got there (15 minutes) there was basically no curls anymore!! PLEASE BRING THIS FORMULA BACK!!!

Now you can experience that hair again with this incredible hair glue in a can. If you are nostalgic for REAL hairspray that can take you through a tornado, a hurricane and a hail storm with nary a strand out of place, this is the product for you. It doesn’t flake, it’s not sticky and it’s a nice even micro spray- just don’t try to comb through it once it dries because like cement, once it sets, you are 100% committed and only a jackhammer is going to help you. I give this ten stars. I didn’t know hairspray like this was still around, hopefully the EPA doesn’t get wind of it for a while or it will surely go the way of R-22, leaded gas and asbestos ceiling tiles.

This spray does what it says but the hold is lacking. It gives a nice shine and repels humidity but it doesn't hold like a freeze spray. It dries quickly and the scent is light. It's somewhat tacky in high humidity but not to bad. It's a good price but I want something that has better hold.

I've been using this for at least a decade and I've yet to find anything that works as good on thick wavy unruly hair especially with humidity. I used to fly a lot in encounter humidity in Hawaii, Hong Kong etc.Is it perfect? I don't think there is one on the market but it certainly helps! The only issue I have is how much it's gone up in price over the years but I guess everything has!

Great new formula! It makes my hair feel soft and moveable but still provides great hold! It also keeps it from falling apart in humid weather. Love it!

The biggest thing here is the fact that this is a hairspray that won't build-up like a plastic film over time. Important if you just want to comb out your hair to fix and set it again without having to wash it. No, it isn't the end all / be all in holding power, but it is just enough for a good part of the day even with some high humidity as it would seem. A very balanced hairspray that makes natural look as good as possible perhaps because it has that Frieda frizz serum in the mix somewhere? If med to light hold with no build-up is something that interests you then look no further.

Something about this product changed when the packaging changed. It just doesn't hold for more than a couple of hours.
