Rock Lyrics Trivia Quiz Book: 50s - 60s (1955 - 1964) Paperback – November 15, 2016

I brought this for a 60th birthday party. The trivia questions were challenging, but got us all singing each song to come up with the answer. I'd buy this book for anyone who thinks they know rock lyrics.

This book was published in the early 1990s to provide questions and answers regarding (reasonably) well-known rock tunes. The format is the familiar "multiple guess" one of several options, with answers at the end of each chapter. It could be very useful for a games night or trivia-challenge situation. The price is quite reasonable. Of course, it can't incorporate questions for the last roughly 25 years of pop-music history.

The book is a good idea for old rock and roll fans but some of the questions are really obscure.

I bought this to use as a game with our company on New Year's Eve. It was great fun. The questions weren't too hard nor too easy. Lots of fun and found out the correct lyrics to several songs I have been mumbling through for decades! Would definitely recommend to others.

Fun book, full of useful, and useless trivia. Fun on a car ride. My husband loves trivia, and he enjoyed this book.

I prefer having a trivia book to playing a trivia box game. Not only is it less expensive, it's easier to take along to a party or other get together and spontaneously ask questions. It's also easier for playing on a car trip. Most of the trivia subjects are familiar and cover a wide range of classic songs.

My sister and I play music trivia over the phone and love this book! Each question gives the group's name and a multiple-choice lyric question. One of the choices is usually pretty funny so we laugh a lot along with singing bits of old songs. This book is a lot of fun.

Not what I thought it would be

Great stuff from a great double era of proper music which has never been bettered .Nice to see something us olduns can shine at - hurry up with vol 2 cos Im already well into compiling something similar which I started about 20 years ago when music was getting on my nerves

A bit too obscure for what I wanted in a residential care home setting. Probably 2 or 3 questions per quiz have recognisable songs. Unless you are a serious music buff it’s too hard. Despite this not being my era, it is my target audiences era and they’ve not heard of over half of the songs.
