I needed to light a dark corner of an outside puppy enclosure and had no AC electrical supply to tap into, so solar seemed the perfect solution.The light and panel were packaged well, and arrived in perfect condition. The light, solar panel, mounting brackets and hardware are all of good quality with good fit and finish.The installation instructions were easy to follow. It took only 20 minutes from opening the box to complete the installation. I chose to use heavy zip ties to mount the components to the top of a fence because I plan to move the light later on. I also used a small adjustable wrench, screwdriver and pliers to install the light.The light, panel and remote all function as described and the light throws a bright, white light. Because of low hanging tree limbs, I mounted the light about five feet (1.5 meters) off the ground. At this height, the light brightly illuminates a space approximately 25'x30' (7.5meters x 9meters) or 750 sq. ft (67.5 sq.meters). Placing the light higher off the ground would have provided a larger light pool, but it is important to note that there is a very distinct drop-off of light at the edge of the illumination pattern. If you need to light much beyond 800 sq. ft. you will need multiple lights.My solar panel is placed to get direct sun about 8 hours a day which, combined with indirect sunlight is sufficient to keep the light charged for use at night. We've had several overcast/rainy days and I've seen no drop-off of performance due to limited direct sunlight.Finally, the instructions came with a technical assistance email address. I had one question about the remote functions and sent an inquiry to that address. Within 12 hours I had a very polite and complete answer to my question.I'm very satisfied with the light and the manner in which it performs and the customer service provided by CNSunway Lighting. It is a great value, especially given the reasonable price.

I am using this light for a rural cemetery where there is no electricity. This light shines brighter and more area coverage than I thought possible with solar power. The light is very bright and stays on all night at full power. I could not be more happy and am going to order more for my home. Thanks to Amazon for giving me an opportunity to purchase this light as i had almost given up trying to find one that would do the job. Excellent product.UPDATE November 17, 2020.I liked this light so much, I purchased a second one for use at my home. The second one worked perfectly for about 15 months, then suddenly it would only make a weak light and hold it about half the night. It was in the same location the whole time, so I knew it was a malfunction.Since the light has a 5 year unlimited warranty, I contacted CNSUNWAY customer service. (Side note - I had some trouble finding contact information, so here it is: [email protected]. You're welcome.)CNSUNWAY responded within just a few hours. They were friendly and helpful, assuring me that they would honor the warranty. True to their word, they did just that - I got a replacement light in just a few days, no hassles, no having to send back the broken one.I was already very happy with the lights and the company, now I will definitely be buying at least one more light! These folks sell a quality light at a very good price and their customer service is just outstanding!

I used this product in my garden at the backyard. No problem with the brightness, installation or anything else, except that it doesn’t last a year. I bought mine last year and not even a year since I bought it, it stopped working.

Ok, I must say the lights are wonderful and very bright, well worth the price. But, with that said the remote control is crap. I ordered two of these, one remote didn't work at all. Thank goodness, I was able to use the second remote to set the timer. So now, within one week after setup, the second remote does not work....SMH. It's such a good product, I would love to give five stars but without a working remote I can't program as needed.

I got this to shine down from a 16ft pole like a street light. It probably puts out a good solid 30ft out before diminishing. I set it and it has been fine with simple plug here and mount it there type deal. Remote when I first set it up it was day so I wanted to make sure it worked. I turned on the timer and it came on but it didn’t turn off. I hit the dusk to dawn and just let it stay on. Next day it worked into dusk to dawn mode. So if you press the timer you can’t turn it off at least when I did it. Still will probably get more due to being able to mount in locations where power would be too expensive to run to.*Update* 5/24/20 still works fine. I noticed the brackets have loosened or maybe I didn’t tighten them hard enough on the solar panel and it has tilted down more of a vertical way than I had it. It was angled upward but I’m not going to bother with it because it is still absorbing light even with it not having a perfect sky angle. Light still functional with me not using remote at all since set up.*Update 10/31/20 after multiple hurricanes this year with gust up to 90mph this thing has survived. It still puts out even though panel isn’t in the best position for sunlight. With no power for days this was nice to have and see my area near shop. I’m going to buy more for sure.

I recently purchased these for my new deck. Lights are bigger then you think in person and the setup takes longer then expected. There are two things that I'm not very happy about. First in order to use the remote you have to be exactly in front of the light. Not ideal when you're mounting on the front of your deck. SECOND.....they don't tell that there's not an option on these lights to disengage automatic turn on. So when the sun goes down...lights come on. So you're gone and on vacation and your lights just stay on all of the time. And then you of course have to figure out a way to turn them off.
