Multipurpose Pet Grooming Gloves Great for Trips to Vet and Bathing, Puncture, Scratch & Water Resistant

Excellent protection against cat scratches and bites as well as thicker dog nail scratches and larger teeth bites! Very impressed with these easy to slip on and take off gloves. I still maintain most of my finger dexterity while wearing the gloves, so they aren't too stiff, but are stiff enough to still protect my fingers. They are lightweight and do not cause a whole lot of sweating even when working in hot conditions. These double as really good gardening gloves for dealing with thorny growths. Easy to wash clean by soaking in soapy water, rinsing thoroughly, and hanging dry. They appear they would survive a machine wash, but I have not tried this. Very Satisfied with this purchase!

I’m so glad that I got these. My cat has the sharpest nails and she hates having her nails cut. I can’t imagine doing that without these powerful finger protectors. They are flexible enough to be gentle with your cat and cut their nails at the same time. They look just like they are on the picture. The material is solid. And I got these for a good price so I do recommend them.

Overall got the job done. One of my cats of turns feral during any type of care like bathes, grooming, nail trimmings. She has drawn blood and I'm became a little fearful to do any of these things for her so it was time to gear up. I got these gloves and her a bathing net bag and helmet. The combo of all 3 items was purrfect! She tried to bite a couple times but gave up when she realized her efforts were wasted. The mesh bathing bag comforted her while the mask and gloves protected me. Eventually the gloves were soaking wet and needed to be rung out while wearing. I chose these gloves for protection and mobility. Soft, durable, fits nicely, work well.

My long hair cat has needle sharp claws, it's insane. I've never had a cat with such sharp claws before! She was a stray, and she seems to know exactly how to sharpen them to be like tiny razors. But these gloves actually do fully protect me! I can now groom her in the summer time so she doesn't shed all over my house, and it also keeps her cool in the hot, humid weather. Very thankful for these.

I'm pet sitting a resource-guarding bulldog, and I had an emergency with him where he grabbed something that would be dangerous if he swallowed it. Had no choice but to try to grab it out of his mouth. He bit, which I knew he would, so I was wearing these gloves, and his teeth didn't make it through the glove at all. Still won't protect you from the pressure of the bite, which should be obvious, and the tissues in my finger were crushed a bit and took some weeks to heal fully, but I didn't get any puncture wounds, which is what's really important. I have women's small hands. I always use the small sized nitrile gloves for reference. These fit well, with a tiny bit of room in the fingers. I can't reach into a pouch for treats with these, but I can do some basic grabbing and holding. (Not the bulldog's fault! Fault of people for taking him away from his mother too soon and not treating him well in his first home.)

These gloves are excellent quality. They're thick leather like suede. I have small hands, I usually have to buy kids gloves, and the small fit perfectly with no extra room or sliding and go up to my elbows. I bought these for "ruff" play with my pit and they are great. They protect against puncture so if bitten by something big you'll still get the pressure. Even after a good play session I had a few red marks but no bruising or skin abrasions like I would have gotten without the gloves. I haven't tested them in water but feel they would be waterproof if not submerged for an extended period of time. Great durable product for a great price. Highly recommend

It's definitely not waterproof. It works fairly well, but in some areas, the kitten can bite through. I wouldn't recommend using it with an adult cat. It's nice that it covers your arms and allows you to feel the kitten a little. It's not bad, but it's better than nothing.

Wij gebruiken deze om(wilde) katten te pakken. Deze handschoenen zijn niet zo stug en daardoor veel handzamer en beweeglijker om een dier vast te pakken. Als een wilde kat echt doorbijt voel je het wel en krijg je een knijpblaar, maar de tandjes gaan er (tot nog toe) niet doorheen. Aanrader.
