I wanted an immersion blender to smooth moles. I tried it out making pineapple jalepeno jam. It made a 5-lb (2 quarts cut up) pineapple into fine puree in a matter of minutes. There was no splashing and plenty of power. The top comes off so you can store it in a drawer. Cleans easily. If you're looking for a high quality immersion blender you ought to consider this model. I'm delighted that I made this purchase.

Excellent stick blender at a good price. It's a quality product, very well made, is fantastic for pureeing soups/etc, and with reasonable care it should last many many years (I've had one for years, this purchase is for my son). Also very easy o clean.

Very easy to use and quick cleaning.

I have experience with a KitchenAide version of a immersion blender very similar to this Braun. So far they are pretty much equal in quality and functionality. I bought this Braun to make fruit smoothies, and have used it just twice so far.... so small sample size. Early impressions are: the 2-speed motor is plenty strong enough; the device and jar are easy to clean; seems pretty ruggedly built; fits well in my hand during use - the motor buttons are easy to reach and operate; the blender shaft release buttons are easy to reach and manipulate; the cord is an appropriate length for use on a kitchen counter; haven't used the whisk attachment. The mixing jar included in the set is the weakest element here. The volume scale etched/printed on the side is so feint as to be almost impossible to see it. Nearly invisible! (minus 1 star) I'm considering adding some marks / numbers with a permanent marker for easier reference. The KitchenAide version I've used has slots in the sides of the cutter-head's bell shaped housing which allow for flow around and through the housing causing a nice whirlpool like action in the liquid etc you are blending; creating a strong top-to-bottom mixing action. This Braun does not have those slots, and it does not seem to produce that top-to-bottom mixing action. But I dunk and lift the blender up down and around while blending anyway. I'm no cook, so I don't know if that sort of mixing action produce by the KA version is important to the outcome or not, or just looks cool. What I can say for certain is that using this Braun the fruit gets totally chopped/liquefied and thoroughly blended and the smoothies so far have been delicious! I'd buy this again if needed and I recommend enthusiastically. Happy Blending!!

This thing is cool. I waited forever to replace my old Hamilton Beach, so long that it sat in a drawer half broken, its purpose almost forgotten. Then I saw this shiny new toy on sale, and I suddenly remembered how much I enjoyed the old one back in the day. This one crunches ice, too! It blended up a smoothie in no time, rinsed right off in hot water, and I sure do love how the attachments snap on and off without a hassle. Very satisfied with my purchase! (oh, and I did recycle the old one, no worries!)

Works well, grinds ice, and a must for making stews and soups.

This is a far more powerful and an easier to clean upgrade for my 20+-year-old immersion blender. The design of the guard/blade makes blending hot or cold sauces and soups easier, and made perfect mayonnaise. Highly recommended.

Me gusta esta batidora por lo práctica que es para hacer licuados!. Con la licuadora pierdo mucho tiempo en limpiarla y ocupa mucho más espacio, en cambio, con esta batidora manual la limpio en segundos y puedo guardarla en el cajón junto con los cubiertos. Además, es mucho más durable, segura y funcional que otras marcas que conozco a través de amigos y familiares. Maravilloso producto!.

وصلني الجهاز امس وكان كرتون الجهاز ملصق من كل مكان والفلين مقطوع والمصيبه الاكبر ان السلك حقه نظام امريكي ماقدرت اشغله الا بعد ماجبت توصيله قديمه عندي انا استخدمته والله لاني مستعجل وعندي توصيله بس كان المفروض ارجعه تحديث خربت بعد استخدام مرتين
