Post op for varicose vein striping and ligation: Coban bandages from op were horrendous and although need compression for 10 day post op surgeon said take them off after a day if you can't stand it. Compression stockings supplied by hospital were too big and just fell down everytime I moved. Everything I tried slipped down and formed a tourniquet mid thigh where my worst wounds are. 3 days of torture. Ordered these in 2 sizes in the hope that 1 would fit. Thank God!!! Firm, tight and need some persuasion to get on (which is hard on battered swollen bruised post op leg), but once on..Hallelujah!! Excellent support, firm enough but comfortable and free to move and best of all silicon top just stays put!! First nights sleep in 4 days thanks to these brilliant stockings. They are a game changer!! I can now move and start my recovery safe in the knowledge that my poor leg is well supported. Comfortable enough to try some exercises and a walk today and only day 4 post op!! Can't recommend enough for post op recovery!!

Really good compression stocking. Ordered a larger size as I found them difficult to put on. Still hard to put but comfortable once on. I suffer from Pots and find they help.

These thigh high stockings are comfortable and supportive in equal measures. They go on easily and provide a good level of compression which really helps when I am on my feet all day as heavy, aching legs used to cause me more fatigue and overall tiredness than anything else but these stockings have really helped in that aspect because when I remove them at the end of the day, my legs feels alot lighter and relaxed so I can absolutely tell the difference. The fabric is thick and strong so should prove long lasting with careful use. ( Being particularly aware of rings or other such jewellery that might cause damage when putting on or taking off these stockings) They stay securely in place thanks to the silicone band along the top which ensures a good grip so no slipping or sliding to worry about but do take the time to measure carefully and refer to the sizing guide before ordering to ensure the best fit in terms of comfort, support and effectiveness.

I'm size 10, read reviews + info from manufacturer/seller. According to my age (over 60) I should size up. I want them to be comfortable enough to be wearable so I ordered a L. A bit of a squeeze over calf muscles but felt firm but comfortable, reaching very high up (5'4" + 30" inside leg) which suits me fine. Worn under fleece joggers for outdoor Aerobics and stayed in place. Kept on all day - 7 hours and stayed in place. Because they are so high reaching, just under bottom, fold down the silicone tops when going to the toilet. Very happy with purchase. Different colours would be fun. Also now have them in beige, colour is nothing like the 'skin tone' ones I've received - but they'll do just great.

If you are pregnant, you will need a help to get them on or off. They are very tight and I couldn't wear them more that hour.

I’m a pregnant nurse. I have lots of experience with compression therapy. My legs have started to get some oedema. I’ve worn these all day, even in the heat. They have stayed up, no wrinkles at the ankle, no sore skin to the top of my ankle. Really good. I’ve worn them all day at work. No chance to elevate my legs. My ankle circumferences have only increased by 0.5 cm since this morning. Easy to get on too.

Bought these stockings for my mother who suffers with swollen ankles. Found it difficult to choose the right size as the charts do not reflect how someone is affected by Edema (there is a presumption that the ankle swelling has no impact on the ankle and lower calf dimensions). Decided on large as she is somewhere between small and medium in size and thought Extra large would be too big. Unfortunately couldn't even get the stocking over her ankle as they are far too tight and don't give enough to make this possible. Only option we are left with is to cut off the toe to the point that may then be feasible - however concerned what impact that will have on the stocking.

Wirklich eine richtig gute Qualität. Hatte einen Thrombose und brauchte vorübergehend Strümpfe bevor ich meine orthopädischen hatte. Ich trage sie trotzdem immer noch zur Abwechslung, weil sie wirklich gut sitzen halten und bis jetzt. Ich benutze die jetzt zwei Monate noch nicht gerissen, denn gar nichts. Waschen am besten in einer Schüssel mit ein bisschen flüssigem allzweckreiniger oder so.

As someone with POTS and fibromyalgia, these are incredibly helpful. They help me ease the pain a lot, give my joints more stability (since they’re hypermobile) and I can do more movements without feeling dizzy, even walking through the forest up hill or going upstairs. They don’t slip and are really comfortable, but you need to check the size chart, I’m usually an S size on clothing and I got the socks size L. I saw people saying they were tight on their feet but since mines are small, I do not have that issue. I also didn’t get a rash and I can wear them for long periods of time with no problems. This is the second time I’ve bought them and I definitely recommend them, I love them so much!
