18 Inch Doll Chair White Adirondack Rocking (No Doll)

This was by far one of the easiest products I've ever assembled!! The item was packed well and pieces were labelled well! Instructions were great and it is of good quality. The one part that was a little confusing was the arm rails at the very end. They were not labelled left or right, and I screwed them on the wrong way at first, having to switch them and re-screw. This can be avoided by just trying them out side to side before screwing them on. It turned out very cute and the size is perfect for dolls and stuffed bears. I'd highly recommend this product for kids or displays!

They became beautiful displays for my dolls that I have in my curio cabinets.

I sent this to a grandchild. The product itself is very cute, according to my daughter. Not hard to assemble. However, my daughter found it in a tipped over (empty) trash can at the end of her driveway. At first I thought they had not delivered the box because I did not recognize the photograph and it wasn't on my doorstep. I realized that it was the shipment to my granddaughter. The photo is of a box sitting in a black trashcan lid. Very unprofessional. I thought Amazon did better than that!

Feels much sturdier than plastic alternatives that we also considered. Based on what I saw through the screw-holes, I suspect it's press-board or particle-board rather than actual wood. But for the price, that doesn't come as a surprise. The assembly was fairly uneventful, requiring only a Phillips-head screw-driver. There was one small flub in the assembly instructions (the front panel in the instructions have the screws on top and the pegs on the bottom; the geometry of the panel and holes required the screws on the bottom and pegs on the top), but it wasn't that hard to figure out. The instructions could also have been improved to make piece-orientation clearer since the orientation of certain parts was important (the counter-sunk holes for the screws were only on one side) but unclear in the pictures. Again, it didn't stop me from assembling it fairly easily, but if you're easily frustrated by small things like that, consider this a heads-up. The final product feels sturdy enough for our daughter's gentler play, but big brother hasn't yet tried to sit in it, so I'm unsure how well it will hold up to the abuses I expect it will suffer. Her dolls aren't American Girl™, but just similar-sized stuffed animals and dolls, so I can't comment on doll-fit other than it suffices for her toys which we based on the measurements in the product description. All said, we're quite satisfied.

I have a 20" cabbage patch doll that represents my first born daughter who passed away. This white wooden rocker is perfect for her to rest and look happily relaxed. It is perfect !!

It went together without to much difficulty but it would have been nice if a screwdriver was included. If it had then I’d given it 5 stars.

I have an 18 inch Our Generation doll (Target brand) that I use for display in my craft room. I'm picky about what I buy, since the point is the appearance of the doll, her clothes, and accessories. This chair is adorable! Though there are several good photos on the product page, I was surprised by the sturdiness, lovely color, and overall quality of the item. It is definitely worth the price. My doll looks just great sitting in her rocking chair on the shelf! ;-) Assembly did take a while, and I was concerned when I saw the number of parts. But I took my time and followed the diagrams and it went fine. As someone said, pointed screws might have made the assembly a little easier, but if I can do it, any adult can. I've bought a couple of Emily Rose outfits, and this chair is up to the excellent quality and delightful details in the clothing. Five stars for sure!

I was expecting to have missing or misaligned parts but not so! Everything went together perfectly and quickly. I am SO impressed with the quality and the fact that I did a pair of chairs in less than one hour!! I am used to having one of my subs assemble things but this time it was just me! I did use a Black n Decker but carefully hand screwed each screw in place first and used the power sparingly. I just didn’t have the strength to tighten by hand. My granddaughters are going to love these and I expect them to last for years of fun play! Nice job Emily Rose!!!
