There are pages to set your yearly and monthly monthly goals if you are into that. The vertical week format with hours is similar to my google calendar, and I find this works best for my brain in order to visualize my week. I think there is plenty of space to write, but if you were are looking to journal and sticker up the whole thing, you may want a larger calendar. Not that you can't with this because the pages are good quality, not too thin, and you can lay it open flat because of the spiral. This is my travel planner - one that can go with me to appointments, work, and college. I did buy the larger size as well to keep at home. I absolutely love them both so far. So much so, my teen wanted one for school this year. I only wish I’d found this before I finished nursing school. You can break down the weekly appointments. I love the monthly view for a quick glance. Hardcover is a must for me.
