This was a cheaper last minute backpack cover that I bought for a backpacking trip that was sure to be rainy. I was worried that it might not actually be that repellant when the rain came, but it really worked well! I am not sure how longlasting it is at this point, as I've only had it out for around 3 days of rain, but I can definitely stay my stuff stayed dry and my backpack was well covered. For sizing, I think the guide that was provided was accurate. That's what I used based on the liters in my backpack, and it fit my backpack just fine.

I really believe this cover may have saved my life! I went on a motorcycle trip and put this over my luggage pack (I know, it's a backpack cover). But it worked great! People could see me way up the highway and even in their rear-view mirrors when they would normally just cut off a motorcycle. I rode in torrential rain on the way home, for 8 hours (yellow blobs on the radar map!). Between the hi-vis color and the reflective strip, people saw me and gave me wide berth. Too many times motorcycle rain gear is black, and makes you blend in with the road. I'm about being seen! Especially because most people are too busy looking at their phones rather than their mirrrors. If I had to complain about anything, it would be that part of the reflective stripe peeled away. And one of the "male" ends of the buckles got lost somewhere between OH and SC, but I had it tied on to my pack rather than buckled, since it's not meant to work the way I needed it to. But overall it held up very well, stayed on at highway speeds and blinding downpours!

I live in the PNW and I wear my backpack around the campus I work on. Even in dense fog and a school zone, cars still love to speed in the 25mph zone. The neon yellow/green cover fits perfectly and is highly visible. My back pack is pretty much my office, so I have to take it with me all work day. If it's raining, this sure beats covering it with a big trash bag. Buckles are strong for how much I use it. Your mileage may vary. The reflective strip on mine peeled off, but it still does the job I need it to.

(+) Helpful for travel to South America, always ready for rain! Also serves some secondary purposes like visibility, prevents strangers from easily opening my bag, securing backpack to suitcase handle, etc. (-) One of the straps twisted up and I haven’t been able to straighten it again.

Purchased this item for my brother who ride's a bike for his transmission. Very happy with the product. He said it works great, keeps his backpack dry & the reflective features are highly visible.

This is a handy little cover. I keep it in the pouch it came in, clipped to the outside of my pack. It’s easy to find there and weighs nothing. It’s not heavy duty. It’s exactly what you would expect for this price - nice enough to keep my day pack dry. I carry a power bank and other things that I don’t want to get wet. They’re in zip lock bags and my pack should keep most of the water out, but this gives me a little extra peace of mind.

Kept my backpack completely dry while hiking in a heavy downpour. I was very grateful to have made this last-minute purchase before a recent hiking trip. It absolutely did it's job, while being lightweight and easy to pack in my small suitcase and carry in the backpack when not needed for rain.

I am a bus commuter and spend a lot of time standing in the PNW rain and dark. I've bought other backpack rain covers but this is the first one that did what I wanted it to do. The harnesses keep it snug on the backpack, even when i'm doing high activity movement. It easily detaches to gain access to inside the bag by un-clipping one clip and equally easy to reclip (you do have to take the backpack off.) So far, it has been very water resistant. I wore it in a heavy windy downpour (.25" in 1 hours) and water did not go through the cover. The wide reflective stripe has made me have to dodge cars less often I'm convinced but I did get the dayglo yellow color so that might have helped. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Works great, no complaints. It folds up into a perfect ball to hook onto your backpack and barely consumes and space. It is also super lightweight and easy to move!

Il me manquait seulement ça pour mes expéditions sauvages de pêche. Je ne voulait pas changer de sac a dos complètement alors c'est un bel ajout. Il est parfaitement ajusté et maintenu en place correctement avec les sangle d'ajustement. Tissu de bonne qualité et bande réfléchissante est un extra bien pensé.

Perfect size fits my bicycle rear rack duffle bag nicely, dual sides one for rain another for sun. Update: first time I purchased the L size which was fine, then I ordered an XL and the left and right side fastening buckle straps were stitched badly asymmetrical. So I returned it and order another one thinking it was just bad luck, the second one also has the same problem even though not as severe. I mean it doesn't trigger WWIII but it's puzzling how hard could that be to stitch them on so they aren't lopsided?! I'm going to do another exchange if the same happened I'll have to look for another brand. Third time a charm, Frelaxy finally delivered me a XL size cover with reasonably synmmetrically stitched buckle straps now I'm a happy camper again.
