Bluetooth ready? Not Bluetooth.
After installing I realized it was not Bluetooth also. On the box it said Bluetooth ready so I took that to mean it was Bluetooth. It should not take much to switch it to Bluetooth. I ordered the adapter to plug into this adapter. As far as the sound quality it’s amazing the difference. I still highly recommend it being that most of today’s audio comes from your phone.

Best quality, worth the price
Absolutely the best way to go to modify your radio to accept your phone. The sound is great. Just you tube on how to remove your car radio and plug it in the cd changer port.

not working as it should.
Purchased on June 2023. Installed the device accordingly to the 2002 Volvo S60 HU803 head unit. It cannot read my music USB drive (it is 16GB drive as indicated in the instructions), music folder are arranged accordingly to instructions. Not only that, when I use the audio jack to connect an IPOD, it produces a bad background noise when music is not playing. I am quite disappointed. Basically it works as a naux input at best.

Just not sure about this one
I bought this to use in my 03 xc70 with the hu615 radio and well... It kind of works. The 3.5mm jack works perfectly everytime, and seems to sound really good, though there is a slight hiss when the volume is high with soft music playing. But.. I have tried numerous times to get music to play from a usb stick and it just does not work for me. The manual says to name folders cd01, cd02 etc, and then put music in the folders, I think up to 99 tracks, but it is never recognized by the device. I even tried with only 1 folder and named test songs 01, 02, 03 etc, still it is not recognized. I gave up on that... The manual mentioned buying a bluetooth module specific to the adapter, and even gave a part number(YT-BTM) but it is not currently available... I'm not sure if I can recommend this product since the main feature isn't working for me, but other people say it's working for them. It is quite a bit cheaper than the grom-audio unit, but maybe there's a reason for that.
