**Q: How Heavy Is This?**
A: 10lbs tops...came in a medium box with a couple of cooling packs, fish came is a large clear bag with about 2 gallons of water.

**Q: Is it to cold now to add to pond that other koi are hibernating**
A: As with any time I have added fish to the "herd", I would do my best to acclimate them to the water by keeping them in the bag and gently (albeit somewhat quickly) ready them for the pond water.  My fish from Toledo (which have all been fantastic, I might add, and that has been well over a year now) have arrived in a box with an ice pack so I cannot believe it would be that much of an issue.  We were more worried about warming the water.  #1 rule...do not feed the fish until the water in the pond, overall, reaches at least 50 degrees.  Consider this sage advice from someone who has had koi for over 15 years (many well over 10 years old) but a very self-proclaimed amateur

**Q: Do These Have a Stomach?**
A: Koi have no stomach, but have a straight gut. In warm water koi will digest their food in about 4 hours.

**Q: We have a small pond by our front porch, there is no filter or not pump in the pond.  What do I need to put some Koi in the pond?**
A: Our pond is set up with pumps and filters. We have waterfalls and plants. Our pond is deep so our fish make it find through the winter. I don’t know what all you would need.
