I purchased both the navy blue and black in my regular pant size. The coverage is similar to that of a bermuda short length, which is exactly what I was looking for. I am giving 4 stars at this time only because I haven't truly worn the bottoms yet (no swimming/walking around the beach), but they seem to be exactly what I was looking for to wear when my husband and I go to Costa Rica later this month.
