Constructed of heavy-duty die-cast metal for industrial-grade performance, the powerful floodlight includes one 500-watt quartz bulb that casts a broad swath of pure-white light--the equivalent to three 150-watt PAR flood lamps--across alleys, driveways, front porches, warehouse entrances, and more. The fixture's instant on/off feature requires no warm-up period, and it can be used with a dimmer switch (sold separately) to create a customized level of security. Furthermore, its thermal, tempered-glass hinged door provides superior bulb protection and can be quickly unscrewed for easy bulb replacement. Additional highlights include a handsome bronze finish that blends nicely with brickwork, stucco, cement, siding, and other residential or commercial settings; an optional cover plate (sold separately); and a space-saving shape and unique mounting design that works equally well on wall- or eave-mount applications. The unit should not, however, be used in the face-up position. UL-listed for wet locations, the floodlight carries a five-year limited warranty.
