The first time I had this, I was in Germany and fell in love on the spot. A little goes a long way, as this stuff really packs a punch! The flavor is that of your typical yellow mustard, but you can tell they use good quality ingredients giving it a more intense taste. I mostly use this on sandwiches or blob some on a charcuterie board. For mustard, it's very hot, but as far a heat on the tongue goes, I'd compare it to Frank's hot sauce, but there's a catch. The heat is more like a horseradish heat that hits you right in the sinuses. If you use quite a bit, it's got one hell of a sinus kick! Wife made me a sandwich once and used it like regular yellow mustard (I like a lot of mustard). I finished it, but I may or may not have shed a tear while pounding the table a couple of times. I will be a lifetime consumer of this product.

The mustard tasted good but unfortunately I had to throw it away. It came with large holes in the tube and mustard was everywhere in the package. This item is not available to be returned so I’m out the money and the mustard. Buy the mustard at a grocery store and not from this seller as it will likely be exploded before it gets to you.

I grew up with this mustard. For German food it packs a punch and I love it. Reason why I took a point off is the expiration date. On the side of the tube it says the following: “Mindestens haltbar bis: siehe Tubenpfalz“ That means “at minimum good until: see fold of tube (at the end)” This tube that arrived today (4/4/2025) is dated to expire after 5/19/2025. It’s just over a month out and not what I expected from a mustard, given the fact that mustard normally lasts 3 years when unopened. The vinegar is what preserves it. Once it is opened it should be used within 6 months. It’ll be fine for me… Mustard is a very popular condiment in Germany. Import items have to be monitored for expiration dates in general due to the time they spend at sea. Just keep an eye on all of them whether on Amazon or in your local store.

Changed review to 5 star after receiving, notification changed to take another month to receive but it came 3 days later, so took about a month. That said, product is excellent just wish I could have had a reason for delay and I would have been fine with it, not knowing always makes you wonder if you got ripped

Wow! What an amazing taste! It has no preservatives, has a decent amount of heat and is very versatile. I used it on hot dogs and pretzels and it was amazing. It arrived undamaged, and properly sealed. Thank you!

Habe den Senf auch verzweifelt im Supermarkt gesucht, da gibt es nur die Gläser. Ich ziehe lieber Tuben vor!
