Handy Art Washable Liquid Watercolor Paint, Set of 10 Colors, 8 oz Bottles

This stuff is awesome. A tiny drop in a condiment cup full of water is all you need. It's perfect for younger students who typically mess up those standard watercolor pallettes. I ended up buying a whole set of colors.

I only buy these liquid watercolors for my classes now. They are concentrated so last much longer than other brands. The colors are beautiful. I bought-- 24 PACK, 12 OZ Reusable Thicker Plastic Juice Bottles with Caps, Plus 24 Labels & 2 Funnels-- to store the hydrated paint in so they are ready to use quickly in my art classes.

First off, these are great. Very vibrant and can go from super dark to very light pigment. My big problem was how hard it is to get off skin. I purchased this to use with my k-3 art students and it stained their hands REALLY bad. It wouldn’t come off with soap and water, wet ones or antibacterial soap (which can work for other types of paint). I sent the students home with stained hands and felt awful. It does come off with major rough scrubbing but kids hands are more sensitive. I will use them for personal use but don’t plan on using them with the kids again.

I'm new to watercoloring (I typically do acrylic) and this was the first time I've ever used liquid watercolor (have been using the cake or tube). I was shocked by just how liquid it was, but the color was good and blended well with my other watercolors (which is what I purchased it for. Since I'm not familiar with the liquid watercolor I'm not sure if it's normal, but when the paint dries in the pallet tray it turns paper like, and when I've added water to revitalize it, it gums up.

I was able to try this product on a retreat in North Carolina. It paints on so smooth and a little goes do far. I used it to highlight my journal pages and it made the pages Pop. Pages that had frames where highlighted with just a few strokes here and there and stood out to those that were not. It is well worth the try add the price is great.

Really good quality

The colors of this liquid watercolor are very good and the paint is easy to apply. However, the bottle caps do not seem to seal tightly—or perhaps the cap design itself simply doesn't allow for a secure seal—resulting in paint leaking out. When I opened the outer shipping box, the smaller box containing the paints was upside down inside the larger carton; that was likely another factor contributing to the leakage. For this reason, I gave it a score of 3.

I was mixing a custom lime wash color for my walls and was at my white end with powdered pigments not getting me where I wanted, this finished off the color beautifully and was super easy to work with.

I love this. The colour is beautiful and it flows and brushes perfectly. I don't know if it is archival but it is a nice addition to my mixed media supplies.

I was buying watercolor white tubes for 8$ per tiny 8ml. Although this paint is rather runny it was perfect for my needs. It is slightly more transparent but i wanted it exclusively for mixing and it stretches amazing. Maybe not the best for pure white/opaque applications but i wanted it for lightening colours and i couldn't be happier for the price vs what i was paying at the store.

Just because this is washable paint should not mean that it is really thin
