Incredibly strong and easy to use
This is my second case of these cabinet screws. I installed all new cabinetry in my garage using the first case and was so impressed with the strength and the ease of driving these screws that I bought more for future projects. The large cabinets are not floor standing and are made out of three quarter inch melamine which is very heavy. I now have the cabinets filled with wood and finishing products (I'm a wood turner) and there is no sign of the screws failing. You can drill a pilot hole if you want to but these are self taping. They grab the stud and go in very smoothly, use the included driver and a good drill motor and these screws will not only support very heavy cabinetry , they have a darkened brass finish so they actually look nice after installation.

Good all purpose screw
I use this particular screw a lot, but this is my first time for this length. These screws are star drive, so they don't strip or cam out. They are tough. I have never had one break. They are coated for weather resistance and are OK for treated wood. They are a washer head, so they will hold well, but will show on top of the work. The tip cuts into the wood cleanly so they start easily and drive well. They provide a star bit, but it doesn't fit my driver, so I have bought better ones. All in all, this is a good product.

best cabinet screws ever
best cabinet screws ever,i set cabinets by myself,no kicker or support props for upper cabinets, just prep cabinet put against wall ,hold and drive screw so the right screw is very important, dont want a screw that takes alot of effort because it just means your holding the cabinet with one arm for that much longer these screws go in effortlessly ,i mean EFFORTLESSLY ,they hold extremely well, and the antique color gold goes very well with the natural maple interior of 90 % of the cabinets i install have yet to have to toss one due to stripped head, because its so easy to drive, where as other screws with square drive or Philips head they tend to spin and strip if you hit a knot in the stud meaning you have to back out and toss,so no wasted screws,a big plus in my book as long as they remain affordable i well NEVER use any other screw

No need to buy an extra one like I did
The box of screws comes with a bit for your drill. No need to buy an extra one like I did. I wish they made that more obvious in the description.

Pricey but great screws!
Used for installing kitchen cabinets. These are the greatest screws ever. No predrilling, no split wood and TIGHT hold! Even comes with a nice bit! I never thought screws would be a โget what you pay forโ kind of thing, but man, these were worth every dollar I paid for them!

Minimal Counter Sinking - Excellent
I used these to attach 2x6x16's (bull nose routed) to the top of my deck handrail. I screwed them from underneath to hide the screws and to make a cleaner finish. These screws were the perfect solution for attaching the handrail and not worrying too much about the head sinking through. We pre-drilled the holes passing through the 2x4x16's (underneath). These screws are very strong and I did not have any break or spin out the head. These are excellent screws for those places where you have to pull two things together with minimal counter sinking.

I put my cabinets together with these with no problems, I have no complaints.

Fantastic screws
These are simply the best, I love using them. Several reasons why: - the leading threads have a flute in them which effectively pre-drills for you, which prevents splitting. - the wide head has more bearing surface, it's as good as having a washer under them, which means it's much more durable with softwoods or particle board - the wide head is also ideal for pocket screws - Torx is far superior to Phillips screws in ability to transmit torque. A little more of a toss up to compare with Robertson (square) for wood applications (similar screws with Robertson heads from Kreg are good too) - the head is quite low-profile They are worth the bit of extra cost as they are excellent quality, make the work go quicker, and are less likely to strip out the head. I've been buying a few different sizes to have on hand and make them my go-to wood screw. I just try to watch for drops in price, and buy in large enough packages to be affordable.

Bits and head low quality and can strip
The screws themselves are great in terms of the thread build and power to grab the two mating pieces together right, this is outstanding! The head however sucks, and so does the bit that this comes with. I wish they were just Robertson, much more practical, instead of needing to get fancy. At least provide options for good strong bits of different sizes/lengths if you feel you MUST reinvent the wheel and force people to spend more money.

Pricey at $32 for 100
Will use these for smaller cabinet installation. But will supplement with 1-2 longer structural screws - yes over kill but that is what good craftsmanship is all about.
