Outstanding travelers bag
I've traveled the world hundreds of times using a Delsey bag purchased in 2006, it's an unbelievable tank. Also was more than 2x the price of this bag. The bag, wheels, handles, zippers all still fully functional. Nothing ever broke on that bag. But....it weighs a ton! I bought this new bag knowing it probably will not be as robust or durable but needed something smaller and lighter. For sure the new bag is very light, rolls and manuvers as advertised. Lots of storage space, and the front compartment has me thinking I could even ditch my backpack too for shorter trips! However I can't imagine that it will last for decades like the Delsey tank from 2006. Still, this bag is a winner in my book. Perfect fit for fast and easy travel. Really impressed. Hope it lasts!

Durable, glides easily, lots of room
Color is darker red, well-made, glides easily, and has lots of room. I've used it twice without any scratches, dings, or durability issues. This was a great purchase! I paid $179 at Christmas time, with a coupon.

Very impressed with the quality and performance of this Delsey luggage
Very impressed with the quality and performance of this product. I had previously bought another suitcase made by Delsey for a 3 week European vacation during which it performed admirably, and so when I was looking to buy another piece of luggage, I gave preference to the Delsey brand. Having traveled for many years, I had always used traditional soft-sided ballistic nylon pieces, but, after seeing a lot of people in airports using the hard-sided cases, I was open to trying that type of suitcase. When it arrived, I was happy to note how light it was, despite appearing to be very well made. The nylon and zippers all seemed like they were good quality, and I found the lock mechanism interesting (if a little intimidating at first because I had never seen that type before). The lock was very easy to work once I read the directions. On to the actual use... I like the way the two compartments are laid out - one has a nylon zip covering to contain contents, with an integrated zip pocket, the other has an adjustable strap that spans the entire space, plus a small zip pouch. On the way to our destination in the Caribbean, I had the suitcase packed completely full, and it weighed just under 40 lbs. On the way back, it was over-packed with the expandable zipper let out and stuffed to capacity, and still was only 46 lbs. We traveled to 2 small Caribbean islands on regional carriers, and the bag was handled many times at the airport and in transit numerous times. I noticed a few surface scratches, but nothing out of the ordinary. The handles are very comfortable, and the wheels are smooth and the bag is very easy to maneuver. On the way back, an entire 5th of rum exploded in the suitcase, and because it was hard-sided, the majority of it dribbled out the bottom. The contents were hardly affected because they were encased in plastic compression bags, and only part of the nylon lining got rum on it. A big benefit of the bag being hard sided plastic, most of the rum ran out and was not soaked up as it would have been with a fabric bag. On the whole, I could not be happier with this luggage and wholeheartedly can recommend it, as well as being most impressed with both Delsey products we have purchased.

Great for a narrow subset of international and business travellers.
This is a great case for those who know how to pack and travel light, preferring not to be encumbered by large luggage or "oversize" carry-ons. Wheels are strong and the ability to drag (as with a two-wheeled roller) as well as spin makes airport maneuvering a little easier...as with nearly any spinner. This bag is a little shorter than most carry-ons, termed "international." This is a bit of a misnomer, as the days of foreign carriers having almost universally shallower bins and rigid rule enforcement seem to be over. Still, for my type of travel, I rarely wish for taller and heavier bag. It should be noted, however, that the internal dimensions may bother some business travelers or those that pack suits or dress clothes. Overall quality is good, and the large-toothed zippers are completely necessary to prevent early failure from wear. I would the handle to feel more secure, but it has great adjustability (three positions) and does not protrude externally from the back of the case. The fact that it is inside the packing area may bother some people. Internal packing and storage is clean and flexible. There is a separator flap that is zippered if you want to segregate items, and a traditional garment strap on the other half of the shell. Now, a note about the external front pocket: Only get this bag, with this feature, if you absolutely NEED it, and if you travel a certain way. Otherwise this thing is just going irritate you. The issue is that whatever you put in this pocket, shares the same space as that side of the case/clamshell. It is separated from the main compartment, for sure, with they nylon lining, but there is no "bonus" space here as some soft/textile bags definitely have. The result is that when you pack this bag near the limit, there really isn't any space left for you to use this "pocket." That said, if you travel internationally with a laptop, iPad, Surface, etc., you know that you still have to remove these items at security, if you are a pre-check or Clear traveler in the USA. I carry a very thin "minimalist" laptop bag that I pack separately in the main compartment of this case, putting my laptop and iPad in the sleeves of the outside pocket. This makes security a breeze the world over, as you are prepared for whatever the process is. However, the outside pocket only opens easily if it is unzipped all the way to the bottom...so, if you think this is convenient for grabbing items during flight, while leaving this in the bin, you'll be disappointed. Yes, you can learn to work around this, but many frequent travelers that I know have idiosyncrasies that are inflexible, and infrequent travelers...buying new luggage with the best of intentions...get frustrated very easily with things that don't "just work." Bottom line: Read the above, figure out where you are on the spectrum, and buy the case. Or don't.

Easy to Travel With
This is my second Delsey 25” suitcase. The first one traveled the world with me for 9 years before a wheel gave out. These suitcases are lightweight but sturdy, wheel through airports easily and the interior compartments make sense.

The handle stopped working properly after the second long international trip
I should have listened to those few who dissatisfied about this luggage from the first time they used it, but I thought it was just an expected manufacturing defect level (a rare occurrence). So I gave it a try! I purchased this luggage for two reasons: to have easy access to my 13" apple computer and iPad Pro for my frequent international travels going through many security check points, and secondly for a good size carry-on for a one-week trip. I have used this luggage as my carry-on on two long trips: New-York - Hong Kong - HCMC (Saigon) on Dec 28 and HCMC (Saigon)-Hong Kong-Amsterdam - Hamburg on Jan 3. Here are what happened after the Second trip from Saigon - Hong-Kong - Amsterdam - Hamburg (a long 28 hour trip) with three aircraft changes and a long-distance bus ride: 1. I Like the V-shape opening of the computer compartment. Zipping up the zipper to close it has to be done with care, otherwise the zipper catches the fabric ears that maintain the V-shape. As long as you do not overpack the shared compartment on the other side of the computer side, you are OK. 2. When I received this luggage just on the same day of I was leaving New York for Asia (on Dec 28), I saw the handle was not as strong and durable as I expected compared to my Tumi luggage. I thought it should be OK after all it came with a 10-year international warranty. During these two trips obviously the handle was used quite a bit - as you move from gates to gates and from lounges to lounges. I handled it with care all the time. The luggage runs smooth on a hard surface, less so on thick carpet as I expected. But after I got to Hamburg, and was getting on to a bus to Kiel, the handle did not lock-in properly (to stay down). One handle bar could not collapse all the way down - just about 0.5 in on one side and prevented it to stay down. I managed to lock it after a few jiggles. But now it needs a minute or two to collapse all the way down and stayed in a lock position. This is unacceptable flaw. Definitely I will return it. The manufacturing defect rate is more than I expected from Delsey. I will definitely return it and reconsider buying a Vitrinox that is twice the price. All in all it is an OK bag. The volume is small as some reviewers have pointed out, but it works fine for me (fits for two jeans, 2 shirts, 5 T-shirts, winter gears, two sweaters, and 1 computer + 1 iPad Pro). I have a small back pack to carry the back-up drive, cables, and books.

Bought in 2022, still as good as new in 2024
I often forget to review things after I buy them. But I happened across the old order where I bought this and thought I'd tell everyone the suitcase I bought in 2022 has held up very well. I've used it for a number of trips, including via aircraft. It still looks new. It's held up to normal rigors of travel. The wheels turn smoothly from all directions. Sometimes the handle is a little resistant to opening or closing, but it never refuses. You just have to put straight pressure on it (not at an angle). All in all I am happy with the luggage and am willing to try more Delsey products. Normally I buy Samsonite, but the last bags I got from them were too basic for the price. I bought 2 peices. The largest bag, and the smaller case with the side pocket that zips open. The small bag is great as a carryon. The lapsop pocket makes it easy to unpack your laptop at security. It's big enough that you can throw your liquid package in there, too, if your airport security requires that to be removed. Generally I put everything that I need to access during the flight in the small zipper pocket with my laptop, For example, a book, a bag with headphones and/or eyemask, sometimes even a small blanket for transatlantic flights. Then I can easily pull out my comfort items when I get to my seat, without having to unzip the whole case. The wheels save my back and neck/shoulder the weight of carrying a bag in the airport, which can be very tiring. All in all, I really like this luggage set.

Quality spinner
This is an exact replacement of the spinner that lasted for many years of travel. The case is durable and the matte finish stands up well and it is a dream to manoeuvre through airport and streets. The inside holds a lot of items and the 25” size I never worry about over weight. The zipper section inside means clothes don’t scatter when opened. Highly recommend!!

Definetely recommend
I ordered this suitcase shortly before Black Friday sales, it cost me 87.50 euros. The price was more than fair, I checked on other web pages - originally it cost 269 euros. You must keep in mind that the size is approximately 57-58 cm (height), which is not always acceptable by airline companies. Nevertheless, I did not have any problem during the last travel - it was accepted for cabin baggage. As usual, I would recommend ordering suitcase coverage to avoid scratches.

Fits a week’s worth of clothes plus devices
This worked really well for our 6 day cruise. Although I did overpack (typical). Would work even better with compression packing cubes. Getting iPads in and out was easy for security check. And pulling and pushing the carry on everywhere was a breeze!
