Flavor, flavor, flavor. I love Arabica beans.
Flavorful arabica beans. I use it every morning in a Bialetti coffee maker. Great taste to start the morning.

One of the best blends, tastes great
Portuguese have a very specific blend of beans that are just great. Love this coffee. It's dryer and less oily than one would expect, but still makes great espresso.

It is good!
First, I must say that these coffee beans are very good and make great coffee even in an automatic drip coffee machine. I was fortunate enough to get it on sale, otherwise I would have never bought it. It is strong compared to our regular Organic choice of medium roast that we like. I would recommend this Sical to anyone who wants a smooth bold flavor.

Stale
This coffee is old and the taste is stale. I have tried to brew it different methods and it is obviously that the coffee is old. It is bitter and smells stale before you grind and after grinding. I remember Portuguese coffee to be very smooth with a great taste. This was a wast of $40 dollars.

Mild
Good deal. Very inexpensive compared to brands I buy at the grocery store. This is a large bag of beans. Would be way over $20 at Starbucks or your local grocery store. This coffee is very mild, not bitter. It's suitable for those who like weak coffee, and those who prefer stronger coffee. For reference, we usually drink medium blends. The beans are dry, and a medium brown color. Not dark and glossy like I'm used to. That being said, I give it 4 stars, cause my husband loved it. I personally prefer other brands flavor wise. But it's not bad. I will order it again for him. When I use it I will add a few beans from a darker roast to give me the flavor I prefer.

Portuguese style coffee brings back awesome memories
After world war two, many Portuguese people ended in South America. Many started bakeries where awesome espresso was offered. I grew up getting a cafecito con leche which was made from an espresso using this style roast and sourced coffee. Love the coffee bean selection and roast. The 2.2lb=1kg came in this case in four individual 250g bags. My case is they ran out of the large bags, but I do prefer it this way as I keep the rest of the coffee beans in the freezer,

So happy I found this
Just moved back to the states after living in Portugal for two years. I got hooked on this coffee while there and was sad to think I would have to be without it when I came back but I was able to find this bag of whole beans and I LOVE it!!!
