I've used both retinoic acid and retinol products for 30 years, which produce varying degrees of noticeable exfoliation. With the gentler retinols, there's less severe "flaking" anda more gradual improvement of the skin. With active retinols, I wake up with a slight dry-powdery residue on my skin surface, which easily washes off. That mild exfoliation effectively prevents surface wrinkles, and it also evens out the skin tone. That is what I expected from this product, but it is not happening for me.
