The item has a good weight and appears durable enough to handle the required tasks. The fish and look is great and stands out strong enough to @catxh the eye” during storage. Great item to have to prevent any marring of the forged wheels.

These are great and perfect for undoing or torquing bolts/nuts that are 17mm. The length is helpful with wheel bolts since those are often recessed a little bit, which makes it more difficult to remove them if you need to use a breaker-bar. The white sleeve is also great for protecting the finish of your wheels; especially if you have alloys. You can remove the sleeve if you don't want it there or if you need an even thinner walled socket, though it's pretty thin walled even with the sleeve. I've gotten this style socket in a number of sizes from Titan, and they've all been really great! I don't use them professionally, so I can't say how they'd hold up in a busy shop, but I'm confident they'd hold up very well. I actually have been really happy with tools from Titan, so I think you'll be more than pleased with this socket and you'll probably go for more of their tools after you get to try this one out a bit.

Bought this to keep in my car to add/remove lug nuts and wheel locks. Worked as expected. Blue paint is a nice touch but started to scratch off as soon as I clipped off the plastic tag.

I bought this to help protect my car's wheels. The plastic shield protects the wheels. I'd probably not use this if someone had previous WAY overtightened the lug bolts, but is perfect for properly installed wheels. (The dealership install the lug bolts where it took my 500 ftlb impact 30 seconds to break one of them loose; probably would break this socket like it did with my deep well.) The size is perfect and it has a distinct look, making it easy to grab from the tool cabinet.

This socket cracked on my third tire rotation. No impact usage or abuse, simply tightening lugs on the wheel (120 Nm) and it cracked splitting both the plastic sleeve and the very thin metal socket wall. I should have trusted the reviews that showed this same failure...
