Perfect, as advertised and well made
Main review:Brilliant carrier. Exactly what we needed. Had ordered another carrier which came but the measurements were off and it ran very small. Our cat is a big lad (big framed, think Maine Coone size) and currently has a swollen Abdomen, protruding spine and pelvis and is in some pain. He has scans tomorrow and I wanted a bigger carrier for him so he had room to move about, lay or sit how he needs to and to be in less pain. This runs true to measurements and the ends don't taper up like some carriers do which reduce the internal space. He has more than enough room in here, as well as me adding a blanket and puppy pad (stress accidents amirite?!). Blanket is needed as it's -8c at the moment so he needs the additional help to stay warm in his poorly state.Feels sturdy and the inner padding on the sides of the "bed" are super soft. The base isn't padded very well but again, an additional blanket or even a cushion will suit fine. I'd rather have the internal space and be able to add stuff than it be too small. Will add photos when he's in it tomorrow and travelling, don't want to stress him out now putting him in for pictures as he'll freak and he's quite unwell atm.Foldable:-Don't be fooled by how flimsy it seems on arrival, once the 2 main openings are zipped up it's solid. It's not load bearing on the top at all, 500g and that thing will buckle but on its own it's fine.Measurements:-Runs true to size and as advertisedSturdy:-Feels sturdy, like it will hold the maximum weight specified. Not as well built as the previous carrier admittedly but still good quality.Additional:-Has a side sleeve for on top of wheelie bags to slit through the extend handles-Has an actual pocket on the other side for documents or small items-Came with a collapsible bowl, very handy-Inner main padding is very non-existent, it's just fabric over the metal Base board but nothing an extra folded blanket can't solve for my fellow arthritis animal owners and the rib style side padding is luxurious and feels lovely. All in all, highly recommend.

Gorgeous carrier
It took me ages to decide on a carrier. In the end I chose this one in the purple colour. It's the little video that did it I think! Anyway, I'm so glad I did. It's a really lovely looking carrier, very well made and stylish. The purple colour is not gaudy at all, very subtle and not as bright as the video. I was concerned that this carrier seemed very small compared to others I was looking at, but I needn't have worried and should imagine it is sufficient for most cats. Mine is 4.5kg and it is more than enough for her, while being easy for me to carry on my shoulder. I don't have a car so this was a big point for me, I wanted to be able to carry her to the vet - around a ten minute walk away. This hasn't been put to the test as yet and I do think the mesh could be shredded in about 30 seconds if she goes berserk once closed in like in her old carrier. However, I think (hope) that when she is actually being carried (ie not put down on the floor at the waiting room) she won't be able to do much because she won't be able to get the same kind of footing in this more flexible carrier. Other reviewers have said their cats are much happier in this kind of carrier. I'm not sure about mine as yet - it is on the floor but she won't go in it of her own accord and so far her curiosity has not got the better of her. The furry base by the way is nice and thick around the edges but painfully thin on the base itself and affording no particular comfort at all. My cat usually tries to dig herself out of her carrier so from the perspective of a comfortable base mat I feel this point is irrelevant. However, I can see she will rip this in two seconds flat if the mood takes her. All in all, I would say I am delighted with the carrier from my own perspective. From my cat's, the jury is still out and I will write an updated review after the first trip in it.UPDATE: Here we are, a year on, but only the first time I have had to take my cat to the vet since buying this carrier. I was really worried as I thought she would be her usual self and tear this lovely little carrier to shreds (she has pulled one of her front claws out previously trying to escape a plastic carrier). BUT, my fears were unfounded. She was brilliant! I put her in and zipped up the front (she wasn't very happy at this stage), but then put the carrier over my shoulder and set off walking, and she was as quiet and peaceful as a church mouse the whole way there and back. I may be wrong, but I would almost say she seemed to enjoy the outing! I may even take her with me to the shop next time, so that she doesn't always associate this journey with something bad. Honestly this carrier is fantastic!

Good
Really lovely carrier, its strong and durable and very well made, it looks high quality and I love the little accessories (a little collapsible bowl that you can hook on to the carrier, pet bed and strap to carry it). The little cosy insert is hard backed so you'll need a soft blanket to go over the top for extra comfort. Fits my 9 week old Springer Spaniel puppy perfectly.
