With the proper care this Kufiya should be a prized possession. With a few washings the weave should tighten up and become stronger. Hand wash in cold water with very light soap. Rinse thoroughly.This is 100% cotton so expect some fading. After washing flatten it out to dry immediately. Never put in washing machine or dryer. Do not wring out. Lay out flat to dry. If you have a moth problem store in a ziplock bag,Shipped directly from Hebron, Palestine. Took 12 days total by registered mail. It took a few days for US Customs to release it (which is understood). This is more like a full dress Kufiya - I'd like another one of this quality in olive and black. I found no flaws in the weave or stitching so I expect this guthra (Saudi word) to last. ### ⭐ This is NOT a Hirbawi Kufiya! It is a cheap knockoff! *by B***D on November 28, 2023* This is not Palestinian cloth- and it shows in the stitch work and the quality of the fabric.The tassled edges are supposed to be reinforced, as in the photo, but in the knockoff the individual strands are exposed and are already coming apart upon receipt. The dye is dull and the cloth itself is a pale yellow rather than the vibrant white you would expect from a real Hirbawi kufiya. Even if all of these signs were not proof enough, they do not even try to hide the forgery, stamping the tag with their distributor in China "Ltaly Owl(TM)" and providing no country of origin tags. Furthermore, it arrived DIRTY, stained with some sort of brown grease. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A superior product *by A***R on March 29, 2016* I received my second Kuffiyeh today, far ahead of the designated arrival date. I am as impressed with the high quality of craftsmanship as I was, with my first kufiya. Not only was this kufiya flawless, but it was immaculate. Thank you for your superior product.
