I can't say enough about Vessel Megadora screwdrivers. They are excellent quality and if you have something made in Japan, you need Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS), and not phillips.

Ergonomic/Comfortable design which enables good grip and the ability to generate torque. Fits #2 Phillips screws as you would hope, snuggly.

I use this on my motorcycle on the stainless screws it fits well and doesn't strip them out.

Purchased the driver to work on Honda Pilot. However this is now my go to driver for all Phillip's screws. The driver is well made. The bit head is quality hard steel and it does a great job grabbing the screw head from the inside to prevent any stripping. Well constructed impact screw driver and it has a built-in hex that you can out a wrench to if you need more torque. This is an excellent driver. I will look to purchase an entire set of these.

Great solid screwdrivers, if your an mechanic that works on Japanese cars,motorcycles etc. You need these in your toolbox. There are certain screws that a standard screwdriver will not work on. These have have teeth at the tip for japanese screws. Trust what I say they save alot of headaches.

Having own many Vessel brand screwdrivers. And for anyone who works in Japanese cars and trucks. You know these screwdriver are not Phillips. They are JIS, easy way to tell if the screw head has a dimple on it. It means the screw is a JIS. You will cam out and strip the head of you use a Philips screwdriver on a JIS screw. These are design to bite and no cam out.Also for anyone who works on any Japanese motorcycles, they use a lot of JIs hardware around the engine especially the carbs.Well made screwdriver from Vessel as always.

This Screwdriver works great on JIS fasteners, it has small serrations on the blades resists caming out. Very well made.

Question: have you ever pulled off the front brake rotors on a Honda? Do you remember the single phillips head screw that held the rotor onto the hub? The screw that you cursed at because you couldn't remove it and ended up stripping (actually 'camming-out') the screw head? That happened because the screw was NOT a phillips head but a JIS screw, which on the surface looks like a phillips but is not. This screwdriver is what you should have used to remove that screw!A JIS screw will have a small dimple on the head (see my included picture).This screwdriver is a professional-level driver with striking cap (the shaft goes all the way through the handle).
