Bought this to simplify all the cable clutter but no dice. USB-C end and this adapter get too hot to touch when charging so that's unacceptable. Going to return.Build quality is better than expected as far as the materials used, just didn't work for me. I'll get a dedicated lightning cable instead. Also, the whole assembly only works on a desk/table. Don't try it on a couch for example as the cable+adapter ends up being too long and will stress both the port and the adapter end. It might work great for you though if you have that environment for example.

PROS:- Adapter feels durable.CONS:- Does not charge iPhone.NOTES:I tried charging an iPhone with this adapter and the iPhone doesn't even recognize the connection. The USB-C cable is good, as I use it to charge my phones, but the adapters appear not to work.

Fell apart first use, end stuck in iPad and pulled apart.

I received the 2 pack today and neither adapter charged my phones. I connected it to several different USB-C cables and charging bricks, but nothing—at all. These are total garbage.

Didn’t work for an iPhone 11. Appears the plug portion isn’t long enough to make the proper contact inside the phone
