Ikea Dignitet Stainless Steel Support/Corner Fixture for Curtain Wire

I bought this after I put up the IKEA Dignitet fixture over a large expanse. I really wanted the clean look of nothing in the middle, but it started to sag a lot. I put this in the center of the windows and it holds what I would consider, fairly heavy curtains, with no sagging. I also keep the weight evenly distributed when not home or night time, I feel like that helps keep the metal cord from sagging. I would definitely recommend buying this with the rest of the fixture, if you're expanding further than a single window.

I love the IKEA Dignetet curtain rod and supports. We have a very long window. We have curtains with grommets. The normal rods use extensions for large windows. The extensions hang up on the grommets. The Dignetet rod, wire and supports worked perfect for our living room. Read the instructions. You definitely need to adhere to the instructions indicating where/when supports are needed, lengthwise. Looks wonderful, functions wonderfully.

I really love how beautiful these work in our screen house. We have curtains on the South and West sides to shade out the sun on hot afternoons. These are beautiful and are easy to install. I love them!

This product is well constructed and works great. You must have studs to mount to in order to hold the tension required for this unit to work as designed (trust me). Sheetrock anchors or toggle bolts are not adequate to hold the high tension of the cable.

This system work well. We have had it up for months used as a room divider with many curtain hanging from it. It takes the weight.

The support works just as it should. It is not located in a corner but in the middle of a two window expanse. Because of the window framing, it was necessary to have it slightly higher than the edge brackets. It means the curtains must go uphill about 1/4-1/3 of an inch on closing. It is barely noticeable. I suggest you warn future purchasers that a double span may need a middle support bracket so it can be installed at the exact same height.

Save the money on long expensive curtain rods, and try Ikeas answer. It is a wire that is supported by multiple points depending on customer's needs. You can add these supports anywhere you think you need them. I used it in an RV where there were multiple places that I would like to add curtains but rods wouldn't fit.

This fixture is intended to support the metal wire over a long stretch. It does, but the end result is just a smaller sag between the end supports and this middle support. I suppose it keeps it from having one big sag, but aesthetically doesn't help much. You'd do better to buy proper drapery hardware if you're going to extend the wire more than two or three feet.

C'è poco da dire, è un supporto per sostenere un cavo reggi tende, quando questo è molto lungo. Il materiale è solido, è molto facile da montare. È un prodotto ikea dove viene venduto a circa 3 euro. La spedizione gratuita e la velocità di consegna compensano il costo leggermente più elevato

Bit difficult to cut wire without proper wire cutters as fray is hard to feed into the very small location hole but once problem overcome look really good holding the voiles we purchased,gives a lovely clean simple line .
